Would you prefer to watch a horror movie alone or with friends?

I would rather watch it alone, otherwise the entire arrangement to get involved is lost. It may be scary no doubt, but the satisfaction to sit through it alone is immense.

Horror movie and that too alone???? Icant even think of it...I get scared so scaredin company then imagine the case without them. Once I was watching this horror movie (precisely my first one)and only one of my friends was with me. She sat on the chair behind the sofa were I was sitting. Inbetween themovie she held out her hand to touch my shoulder, and I ran out screaming. The big idiot, I do not know why she did tthat...but I was very angry with her for that...And I never invited her again to watch a horror movie hi hi

Hmm I have tried that with emotional drama.I used to cry seeing other people's pain or ordeal. But still while watching a movie, i get so engrossed that i forget all the technicalities involved hi hi...It works for a few minutes but again I go with the flow hi hi... You know I used to watch a lot of local movies with my grandmother and she used to think that it was actually experts from real life..She would comment: Ah Only recently I saw this guy being taken to grave or getting married to another girl...How many times does he marry??? hi hi

Thats the beauty of movies. They get you emotionally involved and that is an achievement of sorts. I can understand when you say that you tried without success. Its easier said than done. Thank you for the post.

I've always enjoyed watching horror movies with friends because then there is someone to hold on to during the scary parts but one time there everyone was busy and I really wanted to watch this new horror movie that came out. My brother agreed to go the theater with me but he wouldn't watch the scary movie. I ended up going by myself. I was a little scared because the theater would be totally dark and there would be no one by me if a ghost decides to jump out. The movie was very scary but I enjoyed it very much by myself. At times, I had to grab onto my jacket but I was comfortable watching it by myself. :) I enjoy horror movies with or without friends

That's the way to do it animegirl! I truly appreciate your courage and your bold decision to go on your own. I wish I had a friend like you, because then I could always ask you to come with me to the next show.Great response. I liked it immensely.

I don't really prefer one over the other. I could go either way with watching them (or any movie) alone or with friends and be just as happy.

Well..well...you seem to be a tiger. Have you tried watching the Omen alone? I doubt it, for you would have been much younger then. Anyway, to be free from such things is an achievement and I must admit I share your views too.
