I joined a site a couple of months ago where I am making a fair bit of money, to make money you have to write stories including certain keywords, but you can write about anything you want you get paid 25p a story for the first 100 then 50p for the next 200 and it keeps going up till you have reached £1.00 per story, does anyone know of any other sites like that?

Hi Crbanks, I had written some stories for that work online site too.
That was when the story commanded 50p. I have not access the site since they reduced the rate.
Just one advice, keep all the copies of the stories. I have two stories rejected, and I had not keep a copy of the two stories. If I had, I could upload to my blog. At least my effort is not wasted.

Hi, i dont mind that they lower rates as long as they accept all the submitted stories.
I had two stories rejected, and there is no way I can retrieve the story and repost elsewhere. It's a waste of writing effort. Right now I make it a point to save everything, even if I write on their template.

I have written 3 stories for them and have not been rejected yet. I slowed down on writing because of the increase in word count and the decrease from .50 to .25 per story. They seem legit. But if you think about it how many post would you have to submit on Mylot to make 25 cents. And how many words would that be.

I've gone to the site and it seems quite legit and easy to make money. But I don't really understand the currency. How many 25p does it take to make 1 pound. Is it 100p equals to 1 pound. In that case to reach payout, you need to write 40 stories. Am I right? So have you got paid before by this site? And do they take international members?

Hi Uminoor,
As I live in the UK, I thought I'd answer the currency question. 100p does equal 1 pound; and yes, to reach the minimum payout of £10.00, you'd need to write 40 stories.
I've also used Work-Online and have been paid by them (twice). The 3rd payout is gonna be a bit difficult for me 'cos of the recent pay changes. I just can't get myself to write for that low. However, I do have referrals so I'm steadily inching towards payout.
And yes, it's open to international members as long as they can receive payment via Paypal.

I belong to several agency sites where I'm paid good dollars for good quality articles, but none for stories. I'll check it out - though the name of the site made me wonder if it was legit. Have you been paid yet?
