Me I have a uniform when I go to work. It's black pants, leather shoes and company issued collared shirt. On fridays we have what you call a wash day and we get to wear casual clothes.

I am very lucky - I don't have to wear a uniform to work. I had to wear a uniform all throughout elementary and high school and the one good thing is that I never had to think about what I was going to wear in the morning. And it put everyone on the same level, not who was rich and wearing name brands and who was poor and not. But, I like that I can express myself and my mood through my clothing each day.

Absolutely true preema723. When we are in uniform, we don't have to worry about what to wear and it does put everyone on the same level. Nice response. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

I haven't work yet with a uniform. The work I do usually is in community services and most of the time I go to the communities in jeans and shirt. And when I report to the office it's still casual or even rugged. I can even wear shorts but not the short shorts. But I had a work where there's still no uniform but we're not allowed to wear shorts above the knee. I prefer the walking casual shorts every Friday but it's not allowed. And it's always hot in the office, no airconditioning just an electric fan which is worst than having no fan, so I just wore mini skirts. Well, the boss was shocked, LOL she did not mention not to wear mini skirt.

I don't have a uniform to wear to work however I do have a restriction on what types of clothing I can wear at work. I work with children so I can't wear any types of crazy clothing, anything that is vulgar that kind of thing. I'd actually prefer it if we had a uniform to wear because it would definitely take the guess work out of what I'm going to wear to work every day.

no, not really. where i work it is business casual, but leaning more towards casual than business. i even wore walking shorts last week because it was so hot here, but normally in the summer, i wear capris. the only rule at work is no jeans, so i wear khakis most of the time.

Currently, I do not have a uniform because supervisor position in my company are not issue a uniform but rather given a clothing allowance every month. We are required to wear proper business attire from Monday to Friday.

I see. That's great! You can just wear any clothes that you fancy. But I guess as long as it's a corporate attire that would be the only clothes that seem appropriate to wear in going to the office. Thank you for responding larish.

Where I work, we're expected to dress in black, but beyond that there is no real dress code (as long as we don't wear anything risque, it's pretty much allowed). We also have small silver coloured tags that read staff, which show up nicely against the black.

When I used to work, all my jobs require us to wear a uniform and it's free. The good thing is they're fashionable and you will not be ashamed wearing them on a mall. One can only be identified if you're a worker or supervisor through the color of the uniform. We don't have a wash day, but we are issued at least 6 pieces polo and t-shirt per 3 months. Unfortunately, we should buy our own pants but it's fine since almost all plants and factories have their own pants. Thanks!

I don't have uniforms to work. Besides, it's normal for any teacher for not wearing one. I usually wear my country national clothes. It's easier as it fit all occasion. Plus, it's comfortable and decent. If I'm not wearing the clothes, I'll wear loose blouse and long skirt that cover up to my ankle.

90% of the time when I am at work I am in uniform, or I have to wear regular clothes if we are under cover. But most of the time we dont have under cover work, except for this last case we are working on.
