How many credit cards do you have at the same time ?

Nowadays credit cards are more and more popular in our country . In the past people just could't imagin that they would use "future money" and they kept the concept of saving money . But now young generation here are crazy about credit cards . They begin to give up saving money already. But some of them are living a very confounded life . They overdraft a lot and have to borrow money from others to return the money back to their credit cards . How many credit cards do you have ? Please share your experience.

Mostly i use case but i have a debit card which is convient for me to shop in the supermarket. I feel same with you that i don't like credit card.

Me either . I don't have any and don't plan on having any. You are right that with credit cards we are easy to spend more money .

I have 2. I have one that I use on a semi-regular basis. Then, I have one that is on my hubby's account. It is for emergency purposes only.

I have three credit cards but I only use them when I know I have the money to pay it come my due date. I refrain from using it for wants. I just use it for my needs and if its really really important. I am so happy because I know I can control the use of credit card in my life.

Hi grace,
I haven't had any credit card. And I will never apply for one. I perfer to use a debit card instead.
I don't want to spend money that not belong to me. And I am not a wise spender. If I have a lot of money with me, I will buy something that I didn't even want to use it. And that is a waste of money. Having a credit card will give me an impression that I have money.

Yes indeed everyone says that if you have a credit card you just cann't control yourself to spend all the money from the card. After that you will begin to worry about how to return this money.

Hello Grace,
Nice discussion. I admit credit card is so important to me, but of course I am not fancy in using the future money. So I only have 2 credit cards. The first one I use it for daily life and the second one is for back up purpose only. What I mean here is carrying a credit card is better than carry too much cash on hand. Just like yesterday we whole family went for a buffet dinner in a hotel and the bill came out at $300. I don't carry that much of money and I just get easily pay the bill using the credit card I have. Then I will pay back this amount when I get the statement.

I own four credit cards but I only use 2 credit cards, the other two is for emergency only. I make sure that whenever I used any of my two active credit card, I will pay it in full come my due date. I refrain from paying in minimum amount because I find the interest too high when it accumulates. I also know some friends who were bankrupt because of credit card loans.

I wanted to get one last year but really thought it was not advisable since I cannot even save up to the amount I want. So I dread to get one now when I know I won't be able to pay up and might end up having a lot of debts. But hopefully once I get myself established with a good amount savings then I might be getting one for myself for emergency purposes.
