I read in my soap magazine that JR is going to be diagnosed with cancer and that he is only going to share the news with Marissa. Which of course will bring them closer. I am not sure what I think of JR falling for his dead wife's twin sister. Thoughts or ideas?

That seems to be the current storyline making the soap rounds, Guilding Light(twice with the same character), The Young and the Restless(currently in progress with Lily), One Life to Live(the young boy Shane) and probably others. Sometimes it looks like the writers of all the soaps get together and decide on what storylines to have a close to the same time.

I've thought this same thing...they all seem to have the same story lines and lately..its been baby switching which it just disgusting. I am bored with the whole line-up lately.

Jacob Young was on the Daytime Emmy Awards show the other night...BALD!!!!
So obviously he is going through the chemo ordeal... hopefully they will let him live. He's a good guy...long as he stays away from Adam!

The idea of Marissa and JR doesn't bother me in the least but I do think that she and Scott are much better suited for each other. Both are sweet and kind hearted but also smart. JR has too much drama going on all the time he needs to hook up with someone new and devious, maybe Annie or that Constance lady. JR would really give her a run for the money, she's all about cash too so he's the perfect target for her, rich and vulnerable.
