I love swiss Cheese with it slighly bitter tang. My husband and kids don't like it at all, but my husband loves Goat Cheese which I think has an even more bitter taste to it. Do you like swiss cheese or is there another really strong cheese that you like that others won't eat?

I really don't like swiss cheese. I can tolerate it if it is covered up by a bunch of other flavors. I would prefer not to have it at all. I don't really like white cheeses that much. My favorite cheese is sharp cheddar. I like the sharper the better!

I didn't used to like it but as I got older I started to appreciate it. I started with the baby swiss and worked up to the hard swiss.

I am not too fond of swiss cheese by itself, however I do love it in a Ruben sandwich or with a burger or something that requires swiss cheese to go with something.

I like Swiss cheese, and have several recipes that call for it. I also like goat cheese and Feta, and Bleu, and Cheddar, etc. I like many cheeses. I understnad that Swiss is healthier for you than Cheddar.

So if I buy reduced fat cheeses for my clients because they eat too much cheese, it is really not helping them?

I don't really like swiss cheese. If it is melted on something with a lot of flavor it is OK but I would never just eat it plain. I don't like that bitter flavor of which you speak.. I also don't like the semi hard texture of it. I prefer creamy varieties of cheese to harder varieties.

I like Swiss Cheese on ham, it compliments the salty ham with a bland swiss taste. I also love Bleu Cheese, when I don't want to share my salad with anyone I'll get bleu cheese, its my one vice when it comes to dressing. I never had goat cheese but I've had some smelly cheese that I couldn't pronounce, it took me three days to sweat that stuff out of my system.

I love all kinds of cheese. But my favorite by far is a Gruyere cheese. I seldom buy it because it´s very expensive here and I eat it in two seconds. Sometimes I think they are even weighing the holes when they sell it!. Another cheese I like and it´s not much loved by my family is Rochefort cheese. But they accept it when I make appetizers with a tiny bit of cheese in mushrooms and bake them to melt the cheese.
