Is Mturk really exploiting people around world just by giving few cents work ?

Hai friends, I think many of u already know abt the Amazon's mturk.com which is the crowdsourcing site. I had been working for tat site in my leisure time for a month but i am able to earn only $20. Now i stopped working. I think that these persons were wasting people's valuable time by giving only few cents for their work. What do feel about mturk
