Is it a real addiction if....?

I know someone who used to be addicted to pain killers years ago, and kicked the addiction with the help of their family and friends, but I think they are falling into it again, and this is why..... The person (I won't say if its a guy or girl, cause they are on mylot too, and I don't want them assuming I mean them if i say their gender) says that they actually LIKE the weightless/dizzy-ish feeling they get when they take pain killers, and that sometimes, they tend to take things like extra strength tylenols, or any type of medication to relax their muscles. And when this person can't sleep, they take medications taht they know has a drowsy-ing effect to them, such as Nyquil, robaxacet, benadryl, as well as other people's prescribed pain killers, etc. Sometimes, they will even mix 3 or 4 different types of medications, both over the counter and prescription just to get that "weightless" feeling in their body. What scares me the most, is that this person will often go to the doctor when they are in pain, and exaggerate the intensity of the pain, just to make sure that the doctor prescribes a strong pain killer and is able to refill them more than once ! once this person actually gets a REL pain, like a sore back, or painful muscles, or even something as serious as their extremely painful migraine headaches, they take the meds they are supposed to take, and it doesn't work anymore ! I have seen this person take up to EIGHT, yes 8 EXTRA-STRENGTH tylenols (or advils) at one shot to try to rid themselves of a migraine, and it doesn't help, so within an hour or two they have to take between 4-8 more just to NUMB the headache, and it doesn't even completely go away it only makes the pain tolerable so they can take a nap and try to sleep the headache away. So...... What do you all think ? Is this person becoming (or has become) addicted again ? I've tried talking to them and they don't see what the problem is ! They just tell me to relax, and that they know what they are doing. But I really don't think so. Help me figure out what to do, if anything.

Sorry to tell you, but that IS a form of addiction. Especially since your friend is denying that there is a problem
