voice can be deceiving also...

friends hello,
i wast just talking to a guy a while ago, he asks me something and he has a very wonderful voice.. i fell inlove with his voice, when he say that he will be coming over herein the office i was so excited to see him personally because he has a very wonderful voice over the phone.. i met him personally and honestly it's not what i expected. he was an opposite person on what i expected because i expected him to be handsome, tall, fresh but (sorry to tell) he is not.. he is dark, medium, fat and not handsome.. oh LORD i am so sorry for it.. have you tried this also??
examples are a Disk Jokey guy and a call center agent guy, they have a very wonderful voice but opposite on their appearance when you saw them on personal.. ( i am very sorry for this but i am just being honest in here)..
they are lot of textmates around who fall inlove with the voice of their textmates but after their eyeball, ended up to break-ups.. 
can voice be deceiving also friends?? do you have a wonderful voice??

I can relate to your experience, funny isn't it. In the end, you were frustrated weren't you? I have observed though that people have the opposite, the voice may sound so wonderful but the appearance is not. And a lot of good looking people don't really have nice voices.

In term of physical apperance, voice may be deceiving but for me, voice is a reflection of personality and intellect. A voice is the echo of the soul and the silent scream of the mind. A person who speaks wonderful might have an ugly apperance but he is attractive in some sense and you could possible get hooked into it. I have a read a book (can't remember the author)in personality development. It describes a person who is into selling an insurance. He has a great voice. He delivered his words clearly and correctly. He could attract every person he approached and he could impress even the most hard-to-deal-with person. He became successful in the business. He had lots of contacts. He gained a lot of respect.

It is strange, how we think just because the voice is nice that they are good looking, it happened to me too, years ago when I was working, I used to take orders from this guy who lived i Holland, we were always talking to each other for years but never met then one day he had to come over to us for conference with the bossed at my work and he came with a present for me, he was not a good looking guy, far from it but he was very nice and ask my boss if he colud take me out for lunch, there was a lot of green eyes jealousy floating about in the office thagt day but I really enjoyed myself, lol!!

Let me tell you my share of that scene. I remember a friend of mine who kept telling me about his text mate and become a bit boyfriend fell in love with her voice. but when they saw each other eye to eye, the guy simply asked to go to the wash room. but, actually he left and texted my friend that he was just was asked to go elsewhere by his parents. 
she felt really hurt and thought all the time she was ugly, i kept encouraging her and so far she's ok. now, not falling for other people's deceit....@janebeth (2032)

good to see you here and thank you for giving your response here.. oh that was so hurtful for your friend, so bad for the guy for doing such thing like that to your friend.. but even if she don't look so pleasant to him, he should have not done that, the guy was so rude..

It's really a funny experience! Didn't you know too that man who are vying for Mr world have girlish voices. Not everybody though but most of them. I think, it has something to do with the training exercises of the muscles of the upper extremities. So with the radio announcers and others who train their voices too to be that of "good" quality. Train yours but don't deceive!!! LOL

I rarely find voices to be deceiving.. but, that's just my experience. My voice is often mistaken... People think tend to think upon hearing it that I'm a 15 year old high school girl thats a coquette.. When Im a 30 year old straight shooter that can't stand the little hussies I'm often mistake to be rofl
