So I wake up this morning, feed my son, and start getting ready for work. (I'm running late) I pay my mom to babysit, but my son's going everywhere and she's on the phone and having her coffee. She offers to drop me off at work so I won't be late and my car's on empty. I get to the gas station and I have no cash on me and my debit card is nowhere to be found!! By this time I'm fuming!! I finally find a credit card and get to work. I'm have my coffee and trying to forget let the hectic morning, but something like that usually makes me have a terrible day. What do you do to help your day?? Especially when your at work??

If misery loves company, you will love me. LOL It's 11am here, and my four year old has been a cranky little tyrant running me ragged and screaming and crying over every damned thing. She wanted to eat, but then dumped her food all over her clothes and it was he only food of that type that I had here, so of course she doesn't want to eat anything else. My two year old is screaming because the 4 year old is screaming and I want to scream and run away! I tried to walk my big stupid dog and he got excited and pulled the leash so hard that I think I may have broken some bones in my hand but with nobody to watch the kids I am stuck home suffering instead of in the ER where I belong. And the day has barely even started! I hope your day gets better, and mine too. LOL When I have these types of days, I just try to keep from losing my temper and if I can find someone to vent to I do that. Otherwise I try to think of something else and distract myself from thinking about the crappy day I'm having, but like you, a bad start can ruin my whole day as well.

When they finally stop screaming an tormenting me, my daughter and son are truly the greatest joy in my life. They are cute, smart and funny little people who I love with all my heart. I hope they stop screaming and cheer up soon! It's going to be a rainy day, so I'll probably play some family games with them today. My little girl recently learned how to play checkers and my son likes to play with pickup sticks (although to him it's bend, chew and throw across the room sticks LOL).

lol.. I can imagine. My son's still young and sometimes he tough to keep up with, but I know his little mind is getting more inquisitive. So there's alot more to come and he doesn't have someone to be his sidekick egging him on..lol.

lol...Sorry to hear about your bad day. I guess we're in the same boat. I realized though that when I used to have a lot of bad days, I would stay mad for so long that I would continue having bad days. Now that I'm busy taking care of my son, playing with him, and trying to make him laugh, it takes away the stress before you know it. Sometimes it's hard, but I think my little guy helps me alot.

Sorry to hear about your day! I hate it when things start off bad. But you have to try to overcome it otherwise you will have a terrible day. Just try to get things back on the right foot. I don't know about you, but I try to turn to God for my anxieties, troubles, worries, and even stress. If I just say a simple prayer for help, it sometimes brightens my mood. I also try to listen to worship/christian music. Think of other peoples problems and troubles, it might make yours seem so trivial. There are many people out there that would be glad to have a hard start if they had a job to go to! Think of how fortunate you have it compared to others. So try to turn your day around, remember its just begining, there is still plenty of good things that can come about today! Have a Blessed Day!

You're right, I should be glad I have a job to go to and I am. I'm sure my day will turn around as the last hour has been a little better. Sometimes I guess it just helps to vent.

Glad to hear it, sometimes it helps to vent. That way you are not bottling it all it, only to explode later. Keep up the smiling and keep trying to have a good day, you may even want to strive to have a GREAT day!

Hello my friend What I have learned is you have to mentally get yourself in a happy place, laugh it off, listen to music, talk to a co-worker that can put a smile on your face, tell yourself things could have been worse and move on, its all in the mind
