What do you do when it's miserable and raining outside?

I don't know about you but I'm one of those people that are really affected by the weather changes, and turn into a "hermit" when it gets miserable outside. People have to literally drag me to go out with them because otherwise I won't go. I think that the usual things for me would be: going to a Bikram yoga class and feeling the heat, working out at my nice recreation center, meeting a friend for coffee, trying out a restaurant, going to a movie, staying in and renting movies, baking something, listening to classical music-somehow I enjoy that when it's ugly outside.
What are some things you yourself do when the weather gets miserable outside, can be anything?

when its raining the best we can do is to stay in and watch tv. going outside while raining will only cost us colds and cough and sometimes a fever. if we have nothing to do. its difficult for us if my children needs to go to school fro they will surely be soaking wet when they arrive at school. and if i need to go to work at evenings it is more headache for it is trafic, for rain cost floods.

my children are all teens already, so they are not the age of running around under the rain. the only problem is they need to ride a bus or jeep ( a popular trasnportation in the philippines) and waiting for the bus or jeep leaves them wet even they have umbrellas specially when the rain is strong and it is windy. yes it floods here that cost trafic and irritation

I just want to dance in the rain. It's funs. It's raining right now and sounds like a great idea. I do stay in sometimes if it rains early in the morning and call it a movie night with my love but other than that I try not to let it slow me down. I don't have time to slow down and it's not fun for me.

hi ilyzium well since it has not rained here in ca since'forever'and a day I would do what one mylotter calls the happy dance.
I would sing, singing in the rain,what a happy refrain,Im'singing in the rain. the residents might think me mad but some would join in I'am sure.we could do an indian rain dance.then I would play some MOzart music and dance some more.

Hi Hatley,
Ok I have a clear picture in my head of you singing and doing your rain dance, kind of how Betty White did in the movie, The Proposal, however she actually had the native drum music playing so that was more authentic. lol Ooh you are so lucky to be living in that dry heat! I would take it over our Vancouver rainy, cloudy weather any day....

When its raining like cats and dogs i usually watch DVD's and much something while watching and if not read my favourite pocket book. I always wanted to play in the rain but my immune sysytem is low so, i have to stay inside and watch my little brother playing.
