Dieting can be problematic, particularly for those who have a sweet tooth. If you love cookies and have seen the new diet cookie trend on television, you might like to learn how you can make a similar low fat, low calorie product in your own kitchen, and save yourself the expense of purchasing yet another weight loss product or fad diet plan. Add some granola to your your cookie dough, and replace the sugar with honey. You might also use some orange juice for added flavor, and leave out the butter because it can be replaced with healthly, mashed bananas. If you really need to have chocolate chip cookies, keep the honey instead of the sugar. You may also look for the low cholesterol blended margarine rather than your usual brand. It costs a little extra, but you can use coupons to cut the price, and keep it in the freezer and use it specifically for your cookie dough and nothing else. Just be sure to eat some fresh fruit after your treat; a big red appple or a juicy orange will cleanse the palate, keep your teeth clean and fresh, and provide a healthy balance to keep your metabolism in check.
