Well, the last count at work is now up to 5 people that have lost there homes to lay off. And then there is the call the Lawyer and lets do the bank thing as well. I almost lost my home and I still have back taxes but I still smile and try to everyday. Tonight was hard for me after I got home my friend that I have been giving a ride to called me and while we where at work she got evicted. She was almost caught up on her rent from the lay-off. She is 60 years old. I feel so bad for her. But this time I can't do it. I took her in last time. now I can't it to much. But I mite because I can never tell them no. Right now I just hurt. You all have a good weekend.

I'm glad you've managed to keep your home! Are you buying it or do you rent? I haven't lost the house I'm buying but my income might be reduced soon due to my ex wanting the court award reduced. I'll have to get refinanced or live more like a pauper than I do now. My payments are only what it would cost to rent a decent place but if I have less money it's going to be nearly impossible to keep the house unless I lower the payments. I know a lot of people are losing their homes now, both rental and buying. I would have really been in trouble if I hadn't put every last penny I could in savings the past two years. If you can't take your friend in, you can't do it. You did it once and have to think of your own mental and physical health. Help her find a place to stay and let that be your contribution. I hope things get better for everyone.

I'm buying it. So there we have it. It is now worth less then waht I paid for it. But that is ok. As it will turn around and if not then it don't but I will keep my home. or die trying. I did the credit card thing when my Mom needed things or When I paid her bills with my credit card. She is thinking about selling her land. I told her no that some how I would come up with the money she needs between me and my son we will. But I just think it is sad. See that is what happened to my friend at work he had to buy his ex-wife out so he refinaced and then lost it all. I feel really bad for him. But you keep smiling and have a good day. My neighbor behind me and one of the guys I work with are losing theirs.....one hasn't made a payment for over a year....yet between the two of them they make over 20 dollars and hour and she gets SSI for two kids that live with them! They waste their money....the neighbor is disabled and his wife was fired for stealing from her job so she can only find part time work right now.....I like both of the guys very much so hate to see it happen to them....

sounds like the woman are no good with money and God don't like ugly so that is sad that they have to pay for what there woman end up doing. If I got it right. I'm letting my friend move in here with me. She is going to have to sleep on the couch but it is better then sleeping in her van. I just wouldn't feel right about it if I left her outside. I mean she is going to be 60 years old and can barily walk most days. You have a good day. Your friend onlydia

You know I can help with this!!!! You dont need a lawyer to save your home- you can do it yourself! Ill tell you how- You call your bank & ask for the Loss Mitigation department- you ask them for a hardship packet, you fill it out, you write them a letter & tell them whats going on in your life that is making it difficult to keep up on your payments- Its a Loan modification- you CAN do it by yourself- its not that difficult & the lawyers are stealing your money!!!! Dont pay for something you can do yourself when you are financially strapped! Have your friend call me- I have an apartment available for her In S Mpls as of 4 PM tomorrow 9/1/09

Why thank you very much but she won't live in South Minneapolis as she likes it on the north side as her family is all over on the north side. She is 59 years old tring to get into the senoir building by the police station. I did the hardship packet for my house. It is the credit cards and so on. This car broke that car broke have to get to work. My Mom is being weird and all kinds of junk. It sounds like life to me. LOL the song. Your friend onlydia
