I think every man has some sort of fear within him.I am really replusive to spiders and even I have this fear of height problem. My fear of spiders rooted from my childhood where a spider crawled into my bed and I was really afraid to go to bed for the next couple of days even. Share about what you fear the most, any reasons for the same and how you got over it(if you really did). :) Happy mylotting.

hi loveable chap great user name. my greatest fear outsideof 'spiders and snakes,is based on a bad fall that broke,no smashed my shoulder bones into smallpieces. I have an artificial shoulder joint and if I should fall again and land on that same shoulder,it would break that plastic and steel joint and send me to the hospital for a costly surgery and another implant, and much pain and suffering. so maybe my fear is a realistic one. as for spiders we have black widows, brown widows and brown recluse here that are all very poisinous.good reason to fear being bitten.

hey there. I too am afraid of spiders although I am not sure where this fear stems from. I have had no run ins with spiders to speak of. I have a huge fear of bears, as in the grizzy kind not teddy versions. I have not had a run in with one until a few years ago just outside Jasper, Canada. This fear was in place before this moment though. Now I am even more petrified. I was cycling along the path and a black bear appeared to standup as I was cycling past. I have never been so scared in my life. So now this fear is even more extreme and justified I might add!

Oh you have come across a real bear....scary enough :P There is this spider treatment where they make us familiare with spider by making us see a new spider everyday or something like that :P hehe! Thanks for responding :)

I hate the dark. I am not comfortable going outside in the dark it just makes me cringe. I don't think there's a reason behind it I'm just not a huge fan. I'm not into heights either when I was a kid I fell off a roof and I'm sure that's where that one came from. I'll stand being on a ladder but the minute I look down or it gets wobbly I'm an unhappy camper.
