Adding Images to Discussions! Do you Do this? I don't know much about this!

hahahaha. i myself at first didnt noticed that feature here in mylot. but the as i kept on responding a post i was able to explore it that we can add image in our post. however i always forget to do so in my discussions. LOL

I think you should upload images from your own. If the photos have copyright, we should not upload it here unless we have right or permission to do that. We also earn something if we add some images on some discussions that we posted or respond. I get the images either from the internet (which are not copyrighted) and my photos collection since I like taking photos. There are times that I add an image to a discussion that I have responded, depending if I can get an image for that.

I always add images to the discussions I start. I have found out there's a trick to it though. You have to label your picture with photo subject, photo detail and photo tags, then you have to find the file and hit upload photo. It'll refresh the page but won't add the pic. If you add the file again and hit upload photo then it'll work. I don't know if everyone has to do this or if it's just me but it's been that way for me since I started here. I don't do this since i don't know abotu this. I like to add but i think i need help in adding. I need help on how to do this things. Is there anyone who can help me do this things?

Yes you can. I did it already a couple of times but there are lots of manipulation to do that's why I never add images anymore besides I need to have always new and interesting picture to make it most likely interesting to upload by some members. I think you must try once so you could experience it...good luck then..

I very very rarely add images to be honest my friend, mainly because I haven't got the patience and so many times in the past I have tried to add an image and it hasn't appeared with my discussion, you have to keep adding titles and tags to your image, then it tells you you haven't described it enough or added enough, and it's such a rigmarole to do it, that I gave up. Hardly any of my discussions have images, they do help I agree and they do make the discussion more eyecatching and interesting, you also earn for adding images too, not much but it's something.

Hi Andrew, Being a new member I got quite into the idea of adding images to my discussions, though mostly because I do like to create things graphically and creating things to go with my future discussions could be a good way for me to kill a little more time, and maybe make things look better. To be honest though one of the other reasons I wanted to add images is because I think I read somewhere that it might earn a person a little extra money, and I sort of hope that by making them myself I could boost the earnings lol. I am not sure they are really noticed though, and it does really slow down proceeding because I am a terrible perfectionist on self made images, and so instead of just writing something, I am spending 3 hours before hand fashioning a little banner to go with it. So though I do like to add images, I am only going to do it on discussions I think will benefit from them, so probably not the wealth of questions I ask about mylot lol! I already have some plans in hand which would be good if they worked but we shall see lol Good luck sorting out the images :) Dranz
