What do think about living outside the campus? It's freer and you can do what you can do but not in the student hostel at school. It's also more dangerous outside. You have to look for a place not far away from your campus and you can afford it or maybe your friends would like to live with you.Make your own decision. Will you live outside the campus?

maybe it depends on the cost i think... if you have enough money , where you live is no problem.however,we are students and we can't earn much money.generally speaking living outside is more expensive in China.so most won't live outside .

Hello, jackylu, welcome to mylot.Thank you for your sharing.I agree that money is the pacing factor in this discussion. But the living condition in campus must also be considered as well sometimes, living outside can make you study better then.So it's hard to say...

I want to live outside campus after my first year. In my first year, I want to adapt to college life and meet other students so I would stay on campus but after that, it's much cheaper in my college town to live outside campus.

I have done both in my college years. I lived in a campus dorm my first two years. My third year I lived in an apartment on campus and the fourth year I lived in an apartment off campus. I didn't feel that one was so much better than the other. I shared my 3 bedroom off-campus apartment with 2 other friends. It was more expensive, but all three of us worked 2 part time jobs. We did have a few parties, but we were also able to do that at the on-campus apartment. It all depends on your finances and if you can find roommates. I had good experiences from all my different living arrangements.

I wannaa live outside the camous, but near it.I think freedom is my principle.I feel depressed when the teacher required that I should sleep about eleven o'clock. And the equipment suchas bathroom and canteen bitterly have plenty of scope fou improvement.Living outside is totally different.I have my private space and I can concentrate on my study.Retaining independence is a good thing in some ways.In short, living outside the campus or not are both beyond reproach.

Well there are benefits to living off campus, but sometimes its a whole lot easier to live on campus. The main thing most people look at is cost. In most cases an apartment would be cheaper, but then you have to factor in a whole bunch of things that you would need to pay for and your lease might not be very friendly with you walking out early. On campus you can hang out with a whole bunch of different people and there is usually a party somewhere

living outside at the beginning may be not a good idea,as you enter a new environment, you should be familiar with your new friends but if you live outside, this doesn't work.after one or two year'study, what you need maybe is a plan about your future,by that time you can live outside and begin your plan in a quite environment
