The loss of a Great Man

Hi Folks. I just though that I am sad because a great man has died. He did not help to pass laws to kill babies by abortion, he did not rob banks, he did not mistreat people. His name is Fair Mcdonald Willard. He was a dentist. Even though absolutely no one else at church or in the the town where we live wanted to hold or even touch our two sons when they were little, Dr Willard and his wife Delette did. He had a heart full of love and goodness. When Dr Willard died a few days ago from Parkinson's the world lost a great man. Why are there so few good people in the world?

Yes most people in this world just seem to be greedy and out for themselves. We need more good people.

It's always so very sad when great people die. I don't know the story behind your children but, it's so very nice that Dr. Willard was so great to your children! I don't know why there are only a small amount of good people in the world but, I wish there were more.

I thank you for your nice response. I mentioned Dr .Willard because of all the people that I have known in the town we live in close to Houston, Dr. willard and his wife were virtually the only ones to be nice to us.

I'm really sorry to hear that the town isn't filled with nice people. I live in the city (about half a million) and no one is really nice here but, I'm from a very small town (2,000) and everyone was nice there. By the way I love your peacock, I have cameos.

It was very nice of you to honor him with your discussion. There are many good people in the world, you just don't hear about them. The news is more geared towards the bad man because people find them more interesting unfortunately.

Unfortunately most of the tv news is about bad things happening to people. I wish that we knew more of the good people in the world that you speak of.

There are some very good people outthere unfortunately it's usually the bad people we hear about on the news
