J ust a moment ago, according to Chinese time zone,it continued for about 30 minutes, which from 3:00 to 3:30.At that moment,I was sprinting for my 500 posts. That's it,when I want to make a new response to another,myLot showed this pic, automatically,I captured it quickly T he picture shows not only a feature but also some details that I never seen as myLotter,so I was very exciting, this made me become a journalist and took a candid photography. It told us"myLot.com will be down for system upgrades. We estimate everything to be available again shortly. Thanks for your patience!" I s this my firsthand information? Is there anyone here still notice that?If so,Plz raise your hand below

I've seen that at least once that I can remember. Most websites put up some sort of "placeholder" information when they have to shut down site functionality to upgrade the system or perform maintenance on their servers.

This will be counted into a 404 page?

No. You reach a 404 error page when the URL (address) of the page you were trying to reach is incorrect. A placeholder page just gives useful information about the reason the site's down-in this case, because the site is being upgraded.

Hi, I noticed it too, I was posting a comment when it happened. My first thought was that I'm having some trouble, then I red that message and came back in my senses. It was so unexpected that I rolled my eyes like those balls at the lottery, thinking that my precious post will be lost, being ready to put my nail into my throat for envy. Lucky for me, I see that the comment it is there, so I just took a deep breath :))

this is not an unusual thing with most websites. from time to time they are down for maitenence. computer components wear out, some have to have extra programing done for new or different features. we just have to bear with it and understand. although it would be very nice if they would warn us a head of time. i have had a few websites do that. but VERY FEW

I noticed it too when I was ready to submit a response to a discussion, and that stinks too. Not sure if it got posted or not as I never went back to check. If it didn't that is okay, as it is no biggie anyway. I have had had happen to me before, so it is common here, especially when they are doing upgrades. I am glad though that they are doing upgrades once in a while as it will keep mylot intersting for us all. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.
