Do you start to think of how your going to respond to a discussion only to find upon clicking on it that the discussion has been deleted due to guideline violation? How many times would you say this happens? I am not sure how it works on the mylot website itself, but as I check mylot through my email I have noticed that sometimes I will go to click on a discussion only to find it has been removed. I tend to think of how I am going to start a response, or even comment or discussion before I actually click to do so. Do you do the same? On a side note, Has your mylotting time suffered recently, If so Why? Have a wonderful day!

If your here for the money and you know a discussion is going to get deleted, but you want to help or atleast tell the person... add them as a friend, and then pm them. If not(that is to say here for the money) then just respond to the discussion.

Just this week alone i believe i have gone to read a discussion and in that period of time it was deleted. Crazy, but i am glad that Mylot is on top of things this quick because it suxs when it is later deleted and you might have wrote a really long and good response to it and then noticed later in the day it was deleted and now your earnings for it dont even count. My mylot time has not been suffering at all, i have been so busy the last week on here trying to make the payout as i am almsot there and probably will meet it as i have done 25 responses today and have added a numerous amount of pictures on those responses. It has been a great time on mylot the past week.

I don't know how to respond to this because while I want to say that I agree with you that it is good they are so quick to act on violating discussions, I have started another discussion that has made me think more on this subject. What if the discussion is not a guideline violation but it gets deleted, it's hard to tell sometimes, though this does happen in politics so people understand know (now if not before) that it is bound to happen. I am glad you are doing well on mylot, I hardly post pictures, though I know it would increase my earnings a lot.

I have had that experience many times. I have also noticed that the "violators" are often the same repeat offenders. Some people post stuff they know will get deleted because they feel they just have to do it.

Almost as if they have to be the nuisance or annoyance, I don't understand it myself, but I guess it's good to know who will repeatedly violate the guidelines, and who is just doing it by accident!

Oh, they don't see themselves as nuisances at all! That is the problem.

To me, by looking at the discussion, I'll come to understand whether it would be deleted or not. If I think that is a duplicate or violating the terms, I'd rather prefer not to respond to it . Happy Lotting

Yes once people get used to the rules, and understand them as well as see other discussion that are frequently deleted because of the same subject, etc, one knows that a discussion is most likely to be deleted. This is a good trait and / or talent to have, especially with mylot being a source of income more then fun for so many people here.

hi somecowgirl, i am just new to mylot and this happened to me many times. i am disappointed very disappointed because i exerted effort in responding on to those discussions and now it's gone...gone...gone! but this did not stop me from doing mylot. i just hope that this will be minimize and/or a prompt will be of help to know that it's deleted.

There are so many rules and regulations here that sometimes it's hard to remember them all, and thus a deleted discussion will come about, or sometimes it's people reporting them! Though it will help mylot in the long run, it's disappointing to have something to say to the discussion, only to find out it's been deleted! I like your idea of a prompt!

Yeah.. Before I respond to any discussion I assure that i can give my help to the person who open the discussion. I usually read the description before writing anything. But how sad... Today I can't respond to some discussions I don't know why.. do you have the same problem with me?

Hi, yes mylot has been having some problems over the past few days but I think they will be resolved in the morning. The site is US based, so most likely the people who run the site are off work for the weekend. Just respond to older discussions and have fun.

I just had started to respond to a discussion a couple of days ago that was deleted. It's really only happened to me a couple of times. I guess if my time here has suffered any it's been because I'm on 10 hour shifts at work.

Yes, it happened on two to three topics that one particular user was kinda doing. there was a time too, when i was making a very long long response because i believe that user needs to wake-up, until i submit the response, the topic, i was like wth..my hands got so tired there at that time..so, now am just careful reading topics...
