I was watching "Evan Almighty" over the weekend and had a good time laughing. It has been a long time since I laughed so much when watching a comedy. The slapstick were good. Some of them are a little corny, but it still invokes a good amount of laughter! Anyways, in the show, Evan Baxter is a newly appointed congressman. Convinced by his wife that he could get all the help he can, he finally made a prayer. A prayer for the chance to change the world. And God was listening! So came the long arduous journey of changing the world. What I like about the show is the way they play with words. Take for example, ARK. Evan was tasked to build an ark to save the animals and the people. But the task was so huge, Evan did not know where to start. This was the conversation that gave me food for thought. (You can view it from her as well -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o62L-f-XA9Y ) Evan: I don't even know where I would begin! God: Well, I hear that a lot. People want to change the world... don't know how to begin. (pours waters on dish for dog) You know how to change the world son? One act of random kindness at a time! (Dog laps water from dish. Evans looks lost) Just like very journey towards a goal, it begins with a single step. So, to change the world, it begins with a random act of kindness. So, do you have any thoughts about changing the world? Are you going to? If you are, have you perform your ARK today?

Change the world?? IT's possible, in my own opinion, but it will only become worse rather than good.. haha =D For changes is the only thing that's always changing.. NO matter how good it is, it will definitely change again.. NO matter how good the world might be, it will still be spoiled by some others.. haha =D I will rather let the world be in its natural state, and not do anything to it.. lol =D Because for every little changes we do to make it better, there will be many others suffering from it as a result ^_^ At the end of it, are we changing the world for the sake of others, or changing the world just for ourself?? hehe

That is another way to look at things. And yes, change is the only thing that is constant in this world. But I do not really know about the last question though. Much as I like, I would love to change the world for the better, for ourselves and the people around us. I wonder if that is possible.

Yeah... it was one heck of a funny movie! And I was laughing almost every minute till the ark was completed! Even when I watched it again, I am still laughing my butt off!
