Noynoy is going to run for president!

A few weeks back I answered a discussion regarding Noynoy for president. I said in that discussion that it's probably not the right time for him to run. I saw i the news a few minutes ago that Mar Roxas has stepped down from the Presidential race to give way to Noynoy Aquino. I have to praise Roxas for his sacrifice. He has been campaigning for months. His sacrifice would probably gain him big points if he wishes to run for Vice president. What are your thoughts? Do you thing is ready to be the president?

I guess Mar is just looking at reality about his running. He is pressured from every corner of his party. There seems to be a clamor for Noynoy to unify the opposition together. So far there is still a bit of reluctance with Noynoy and I guess he too is pressured to decide soon. The siblings are quite reluctant as well but with Mar giving in I guess he has to make his decision soon. I think he would be going to a retreat to contemplate about this matter but I think he is trapped from the pressures that some politicians are urging him to decide on. I think the politicians right now would like to resurrect about what had happened with Cory before. She never expected to be nominated before but her partymates all voted for her to run that pushed Laurel to back out of the presidency and gave way to Cory to run.

I think your right, Noynoy is still not ready for that position but I want him to be our president, well I think he was forced by his situation, being the son of a former president Cory Aquino. People will expect thing on what his parents had done.

I don't give much attention to our politics issue. For noynoy's plan running as a president there is no big deal. I know he know how to run and he has the idea of what he gonna do. This is just my opinion regarding this issue. I know less when it comes to politics. I probably go for him or I waiting for the incoming... Let's see.

In my opinion Noynoy Aquino, is not the best choice for Presidency. It seems that he is not deserve to be a President. He is so soft enough. I don't agree with his candidacy. I prefer to go with Mar, than him. He is not yet ready, my friend. As former senator, salonga said Noynoy is yet ripe for President. Look about his accomplishment at the senate in the congress? I don't particularly remember if he does a good thing in senate. In all senate hearing. Shows that he is like Lito Lapid that seems to not participated and just present only to show that he is in there.

anyone can run for president. we should respect his decision. although, the presidential position is quite a leap even for him. i just hope he won't use his mother's recent demise to get the people's sentiments. it just wouldn't be right. besides, i don't think he's gonna win anyway.

I'm really not sure. It would have to depend on his motives and his plans for this country. If people are really begging him to run then I guess it's time.

I don't think Noynoy is ready for the presidency just yet and even the fact that he is the son of Ninoy and Cory won't help. I believe he has not proven himself yet as a public servant to stand a chance against the top contender in the presidential race. I also do not believe that what Mar Roxas did was a real sacrifice but a surrender, an admission of defeat. I don't mean to offend anyone here but I am merely expressing my opinion. Good day everyone!

I'm not surprised anymore because of his parents influence many want him to run. I think he will not going to win and many want to run for the same position. For now I can't choose who among them I'm gonna vote. Even the religious leader want to run for presidency I don't if they really can change the political situation of the Philippines or they can change the system of government.

A lot can still happen. Nothing is final. I'm sure that we will have better choices, we just have to wait and see. I have nothing against Senator Noynoy Aquino, but I think he still lacks a lot of things. It's not enough to be an Aquino to run a country. Big points for Senator Roxas for what he has done. If he were to run for VP, I think he has a better chance.

hi king, i also saw Roxas announcement last time that he gives way for Senator Noynoy Aquino, and i am proud of him for sacrificing what he has started and i saw the family of Roxas specially Korina Sanchez crying and felt two different feelings after he announces it, they felt sad but they are proud of what Roxas did for the country.. he quotes "bayan muna bago sarili".. and that makes him a hero on that day, maybe he made a tough and right decision.. but they are a good tandem in this coming election, Aquino-Roxas tandem.. i love noynoy to be the president and continue what his parents started, and maybe sooner or later Kris Aquino will be the next one to enter politics.. janebeth.
