Power For Today!

Someone just handed me a copy of a publication called Power for Today. It is a pocket sized magazine with devotional thoughts and a passage of Scripture to read, one for each day. This copy was for October-November-December-2007. Have you ever read PFT?

I haven't read this is several years. When I was a kid my family would get this magazine and we would read it in the evenings for a devotional time. We would take turns on who would read for that night. Haven't thought of that in years.

I was thinking of using it in a similar manner in our morning devotional with 8 & 9 year old boys! Thanks

Good idea. I'm sure I didn't appreciate the family devotionals at the time when I was a kid. But I've done the same sort of thing with my own kids. If we can teach them now when they are young they will have that knowlegde forever.

right now our devo includes them each reading 5 verses of the book of Joshua, it is one of their favorite books in the Bible--lots of fighting and such!
