What is the strangest thing that has ever happened to you?

One of the strangest thing that has ever happened to me is this: Some years ago I was in my room sleeping when all of a sudden I felt the bed shaking violently, I tried to move but for the life of me I just couldn't, no matter how much strained and tried to move. I tried to speak, to scream for help, nothing could come out at all. I felt as if someone was holding me down and shaking the daylights out of me and my bed. When I realized I couldn't move or speak, I just stopped trying. I remembered thinking "G*dd*mmit! I'll just lie down here then, this bed had to stop shaking eventually". I just relaxed, a minute and a half later everything came to a total standstill. By this time I'm sweat-soaked, my heart is so not normal and my hands and fingers are cramped from trying to hold on to my bed. I stayed in bed a few seconds trying to figure out what happened. No one in my family said they heard anything. Mom insisted that frankincense and such be burned in my room. Up to this day I do not know what happened, needless to say I didn't know what to do, think or say about this experience.

Hi there, When I was around 13 yrs. old, I woke up to bright light that was coming from my brother's room; I got up to see what was going on because the light was extremely bright not a normal room light. As soon as I put my foot out my room the light went away. I walked over to my brother's room to find him asleep. I did not think anything of it, I was half asleep, so I went back to bed. The next day I told my mom and she said I probably was sleep walking. I left alone, life goes on. Acouple of months later the same thing happened. I ran out my room and saw the light moving upwords outside my brother's room window, so I ran to his room, and he was upwords with his eyes half open. A scary sight I might add. I woke him up and as he was getting up he gasped for air as if he was not breathing, so that did scare me. I ran to my parent's room and woke them up. Of course they ran to my brother's room and saw that he was pale and sick looking. My mom asked me what happened and I told her, all she did was look at my dad and that was that. My parents put the house for sale in a week and we moved within 2 months. When I turned 23 yrs old, already settled down married in my own home, the conversation came up with my mom about what happened years ago. She told me that a lot of creepy stuff happened to her in that house too. Doors opened, heard water in the bathroom when no one was there, scary stuff like that. So the day that told her again what I saw, she decided it was enough and thats why we moved. She says she did believe me the first time I told her but she didn't want to scare me and so that is why she left it alone until it happened again.

This sounds more like unexpected to me, you know, in a not-in-a-million-years kinda way, but it's your strange experience so what the heck, I hope now your situation feels more like a blessing instead of strange, anyway cheers!

that should have been a scary experience and the only thing in mind is GOD as in these times only God can help out in such problems. no such serious experience have occured to me but once i was sitting with my family that suddenly some one with a white dress entered our house when it was dark enough and no electricity, so we were not able to see who was it.but when we checked it out , no one was there. we even now think, who was it?

hi mystiquejj. i dont know if WE just had a nightmare. I remember when i was 14 years old and i moved in my brother's now vacant room. At first, i felt that the bed was shaking in my sleep. After that i felt that i was being rolled on the mattress! And like you, i couldn't scream. Nothing came out of my mouth. I panicked like whoa is this the end of me? All i could think of is God God help me! And then the bed came still again and luckily i was able to go back to sleep on the same bed. That happened often and i was lucky to be alive! And because i was frightened of dying, i always slept with a rosary chained on my hand so just in case something happens, i would always have mother mary to pull me out. I told this to my brother and he said... "oh there is a black lady in that room. don't worry i'll tell her that you are my sister so that she won't bother you." Dang! My brother has a third eye! The same thing happened to my sister-in-law when she was yet to be married to my brother. She slept in that room once and she also felt being rolled on the mattress! My sister-in-law also reported this to my brother and my brother said, "oh! she did that?! I'll tell her. She is just probably jealous." Years went on and the room was still haunted even though my brother did talk to the spirit. I guess she was really sad and missed my brother. Come to think of it, the spooks did stop when i asked my dad to have my room blessed. But you know mystiquejj, it really felt sooooo real... i honestly couldnt tell if it was a bad dream or not coz it felt sooooo real!!! Here is another one. I spent christmas in the our ancestral home. Even though it was christmas, i was reviewing for my exams on college botany. I was studying in bed and fell asleep. I dreamt that i was conducting a choir of angels! (by the way, i am a musician) and it felt sooooo nice! and then when it was time to go back to my physical body, i couldnt get back! Dang! What position should i take?! It won't budge! I tried oh so many times and then i just woke up... breathing in the top of my lungs... dang! i like conducting a choir of angels but it sure is scary not to get back!

Hi Graceekwex, you've had quite a dew of those experiences. Anyway, this experience actually happened twice in my life (few years apart) with the bed shaking and all. I find it weird to have the dame "nightmare", the dame terror, twice. There were other times when I just couldn't move sans the bed-shaking, I just shrug off those experiences though, they just weren't as big (and scary) as the bed-shaking drama.
