Does this Administration Know what they are doing???

President Obama is concerned about the pressure being put on the National Guard with deployment to Iraq and Afghanistan. The answer is to reduce the numbers in the NG??? We cut the first line of home defense and the people we call on when there is a disaster? The Administration has increased the size of the Army but cut the supply budget to do it. Great idea get more troops but don't give them the equipment to fight the war. When President Clinton made his decision to cut the size of the standing Military he was told that in future the country would have to depend upon the National Guard and Reserve if we faced a major conflict. He shortly found out that when he needed to send troops to Kosovo as Peace Keepers he called on some Guard Units. Right now we are facing a threat from North Korea, Russia is trying to expand their influence, Iran is threatening the middle East, and Our "friends" are releasing terrorists. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090902/ap_on_re_us/us_slimmer_national_guard The only reason I can think of to cut the National Guard is to bolster his number and try to regain support. He is losing support from his base as well as independents. Is this president concerned with the country and the people or just himself?
