Mylot tasks

I haven't really got myself into working on the tasks and most of the time settled for participating in discussions here in mylot. However, two days ago, I received this alert about tasks here in mylot and finally got myself to venture into one. It was a writing task, obviously and since I was comfortable with the topic provided, I decided, "why not?" The reward is pretty good too, which is over a dollar and it is something that I would earn for about a couple of days participating in discussions here in mylot. To my surprise, when I logged on the next day, I found out that the task was approved and it showed immense increase on my earnings. So, I decided to scroll through some of the other tasks offered and had so much fun with writing that I eventually got into writing for 3 tasks. Today, when I checked on those tasks, I realized that all 3 were approved. So, basically I have earned in just 2 days what I would normally earn for like 2 weeks of work here in mylot. So, yes I have reached the minimum and I'm still keeping my eye on those writing tasks because I have just proven they are a great way to earn in this website.

Well, I guess it should serve as motivation instead of discouragement to help us all improve in our writing quality. You should try them more knowing that you have been approved, and it is certainly possible for you to do that again.

I've never really been interested in the writing tasks. Well I was when tasks first started off, but all of my writing tasks were rejected, without a valid reason, so that's when I stopped it. It's also hard to write 4 paragraphs about a small topics without repeating yourself. Seeing as so many people have had success with the tasks, I might think of trying the writing one again, and see if one gets approved.

I'm actually quite surprised with myself, as I just submitted a writing task about air-conditiong! I'm waiting now to see if it gets approved. If it does, then I might consider doing some writing tasks now and then when I have free time. =)

Good job! I do hope you get approved for that. As for me, I've been quite busy this day so I guess I'll just settle for one writing submission for today. Hopefully, tomorrow I'd find more interesting topics to write about. It also adds a sense of thrill whenever I log into mylot since I am curious to see whether my submission was approved or not.

I suggest you should. After all, you'll never know if you will get approved or not unless you try. I was a bit skeptical at first too but when I got approved, it felt really good knowing that I did a great job. One suggestion is to look at all the available options and find one that you think you can write something about. that makes it so much easier if you are familiar with the topic. Good luck!

Wow! I envy you! I mean how can you do that? I find it so hard to do the task, I haven't done any of those tasks, when I try to read on it nothing just won't come up on my head nor any idea on where to start. Any advice on how to do this task without any pressure?

THe most important advice I could give you is to not put pressure on yourself. The more you do that, the less you are able to focus on the writing task. in the end, it will compromise your writing quality. The ability to concentrate is an important asset when writing since you are trying to gather information, organize them, and write them down in a logical manner, as what the instructions indicate. So, try to act like you have this piece of information and relay it to the readers in a manner that they would easily comprehend whatever information you have to share.

I used to do myLot tasks few months ago, 2 got approved and 3 rejected. Since got rejected I gave up and decided to just concentrate on posting and response. I don't have the time to create 4 paragraphs and then got rejeted. I miss the keyword task though, it is very easy and pays quite well.

My first try with the mylot writing task, I got rejected too. I know how it feels to be rejected, but I've been used to rejection since I have been basically writing all my life. Just when you think you've done a great job, my writing professor would say that my work is a crap. And that is really devastating for someone who have invested that much time in it. But you have to use that as a motivation so you can improve yourself. And with this case, writing is much easier and you really do not have to be knowledgeable in the subject. A little research job will do it for you and of course, it is all about how you organize that information to make it easy for others to read.

Yeah, the current tasks are great! Never did I think myLot as becoming a viable, income-generating option but it is! It does take some research but it is this kind of challenge that makes it interesting. I'm actually doing some tasks as I post this. (hehe). Long live myLot!

Actually, i was only referring to the tasks i did for that particular day. Overall, i already got 11 writing tasks approved and each cost 1.5 dollars, so you can do the math and that probably consist of the major bulk of my earnings here. So, i am really glad that the tasks are there since they can keep me occupied while giving my earnings a lot of boost. try including it into your routine one day! who knows, right?

I have looked at the tasks a couple of times but I must be honest I am never really sure what they are asking for, so I stick with just responding on here...I guess I am a bit dumb but I just don't get it...

For the writing tasks, instructions are clearly stated and you just have to follow those instructions as well as aim for a good quality writing and you will surely get your submission approved. The article requires only 4 paragraphs, which should take you more than an hour to complete. Good luck if you ever figured out venturing into those tasks!

That's excellent. I received an alert mail too some days ago saying that there are many tasks available. I did take a look at the list of tasks. Yes, indeed, there was a long list, and there were many writing tasks that you are talking about. Writing is my hobby. I should certainly give a try at those writing tasks too. Thank you for the encouragement !

I suggest you should. I was one of those people who were pessimistic at first, because after all it still requires some approval. There just isn't an assurance that you will be paid for your effort. But i guess I took that as a challenge instead, something that drove me to aim for quality content that is almost always assured of getting approved. Since yesterday, I already 4 writing tasks approved and that gave my earnings a major boost. Good luck!

That is right. Some of the keywords can be a bit difficult, which is why i took the time to scan through the keywords provided. Always go for something that you have substantial knowledge about or you feel like you can do a good job at writing. That way, it should be easy for you to write quality content that will get the task creator's approval.
