Can't get on to that site today

Hi Jemina :) I've been writing there for, ummm, probably a month or more but I don't do it every day for the reason you mention. Some of the categories are not my areas of knowledge or interest so I pass on those. Did you choose to accept the Adult category? That's another one that is available from time to time. The keywords for the adult category are very tame, I can assure you (not what I thought they might be! LOL!). They also have a Transport category, from time to time, that I've seen. Hang in there... I'm sure you'll find something to your liking soon! I wish you lots of luck :)

Oh wow! LOL that's really cool! I've been using this screen name in a few places since I started with myLot about three years ago... what a coincidence The thing I do like about Work Online, as I've said to others as well, is that they accept fiction. It's not easy finding sites that do and, for me at least, writing fiction is a great way to get my momentum going and clearing out the cobwebs LOL Especially first thing in the morning! In any case, I wish the compensation was better (they just cut it in half a week or two ago because they are getting a lot more volume than they originally anticipated) but a little here and there adds up.

OH, I see. So I need to check it from time to time to see other categories. Thanks for letting me know. Yea, I accepted the "adult" category as I believe I'm already mature enough to handle that one. Well, it would be a great way to get paid for your stories eh? By the way, your username is the title of one of my blogs: www.justthinkingoutloud.today.com but I have stopped writing there because I got busy with my offline job and they have removed me from the VIP program. I used to get paid a dollar for every article/story I write that's not less than 100 words.

Excellent! As soon as I read your next reply I tried it and got through right away. I am happy about that. I have written two stories on it this afternoon.

I agree with you, jwfarrimond, that the compensation isn't extraordinary... but the reason I stick with it is because it's one of the only sites I've come across that allows me to write fiction. I can do that very efficiently LOL! So, even the smaller payment adds up fairly quick. I actually use it as a break from writing factual or informative articles which can get a little weighty some days :)

Hi there Jwfarrimond. I know that 25 pence for a story of more than 400 words isn't much money. After 100 stories it is meant to be 50 pence for each story. I like writing fiction. I find it is difficult to put one of the key words in 4 times. It was lovely to hear your view of the site. Many thanks.

Hi there Brown Eyed. Thanks for telling me that the site is down for you too. I wrote 2 stories before they halved the pay. When My Lot is down for a couple of hours it worries me but then it comes back up even better than before. I hope that Work on Line isn't about to disappear. Have a wonderful day.
