When did you purchase your computer? Is it still going great? Experienced any problems lately? Would you want to replace it?

My other computer are 4 years old, the latest about a year ago. I haven't got any major problem as of now, only minor software glitch.

My laptop is about a year and five months old. I'm not that keen on replacing it yet, but of course, I do wish for a more awesome computer LOL! I think I'd like to same some more first before I try to get a new one, and I hope next time I'd be able to afford a mac, just because it's cool and my cousin won't stop bragging about Macbook Pro LOL!

I bought a new laptop 2 months ago. The old one was used for about 3 years, in fact it still runs very well, but as an IT person, I like to follow the latest technology tendancy, and I replace my laptop evry 3 years. The old ones will be sold on the internet or presented for someone in my family, or donnated for poor students.

My computer is just over 3 years old now. It's a pretty decent computer and it is still in quite good condition. However when you look at it you can tell it is not really new, because all the new computers look really cool and shiny and have quite a modern edge to them. That's okay though I don't mind as long as my computer continues to work I am very happy with it.

I have two computers. The first one is 7 years old and has started to create problems. I had to repair it's motherboard so I'm thinking to sell it off. The second one is 2 years old and so far has not given me any problems and is working very well so I will use it for another couple of years atleast and then think of buying a laptop.

Hi I had purchased a desktop in 2001 and still it is going very strong. No trouble. I used to keep it fit with annual maintenance. But still in 2008 I bought another desktop and it is also giving a very good service. Happy mylotting

My desktop was purchased about 5 years ago. And I have given it all possible step motherly treatment that I could think of. But still it sticks around like a dog pup. :) I love this one. I even have a name for it. Chichoo. :( I know computers are not permanent. But I used a very old machine in my old office. I am going to make this one last at least another 10 years. lol. Hopefully it will. At present I cant bear the thought of losing it. Of course it does sulk. But it is essentially virus problem or dust problem. Not something that I can really complain about.

My computer has worked with me for only about 1 year. It's still working greatly. I work on it for about 6 hours everyday, it just like one of my best friend that can not part from. :)

I bought my pc in 2008.I'm running a e5200 with a budget mobo g31.if anyone is going to buy a new processor i would recommend them to go for e5200 as it's a highly overclockable processor within budget.i won't be replacing it sooner.

I have had my computer for three years. It was a birthday gift from my brother. I would like to get another computer someday, not because I simply must have a new and bigger computer but because I would like to have a CD/DVD burner on mine and I don't have one and I would like a faster processer too. My computer does some freezing on me sometimes and its frustrating. I am not sure why it does that because I can use a computer but I don't know how to work on them.

And I have other priorities in life.. I hope someday I could be able to buy one laptop or notebook computer for me..

I am currently using a laptop which is barely 2 yrs old. Still its Ok i think. For some time now I had a scare on its hardware condition. Was getting a lot of blue screens, frezzes, all kinds of problems. Right now though after a thorough format and install of windows 7 all problems have gone away for good. Now the computer is running as fast as possible and looks to be in the condition I bought it! I say windows 7 is the best I have come across so far. But I do play a lot of games for a long time. For that I overclock Graphic card, undervolt CPU,etc. So I can't say it will last me a long time. But as of yet I won't think of changing my laptop. I also have a 4yr old Desktop. Its running solid as well. Another laptop of dads is about 3 yrs old now. That too is OK. So in the end no change for some time. What about u gonna change? Keep posting APR

Eight years ago, I had my first own computer, which had CY 850 cpu, 256M memory, and 20G hard disk. And that computer only can run windows 2000, but it runned stably till to now. And now I had a laptop computer Dell 8600 with five years. About two months later, I want to replace it with a ThinkPad laptop computer(T400).
