In our country India camphor is used in a little quantity to prepare some sweet dishes especially one called LADDU. It is prepared with gram flour, sugar syrup, cardamon, cloves, and a little bit of camphor and rolled out into small balls which tastes really good. Is camphor used in any other country in the preparation of any dish?

I didn't know you could cook with it. I think we usually use it in medicines in the states. Have never heard of it being used to cook. That is interesting to know.

This is a new piece of information for me. I have never heard about using camphor for cooking. I like laddu, but I never thought camphor is used for its cooking. I never prepared laddu at home.
