Don't you hate people call you early in the morning?

It was 7:00 A.M. on Saturday morning, and I was still in my bed. A continuous phone rings just woke me up for no reason. My co - worker called me up if I want to play online game around 8:00 A.M.. I just kindly rejected his offer. I mean, don't you hate it, some people just call you early in the morning during the weekend for non - emergency reason, when you suppose to sleep really well, and dream well. All of the sudden, a trivial call just make you wake up for no good reason at all. I hate it, I should turn off my cell phone next time. But I also afraid an emergency call coming in and I would miss it.

You and I seem to have almost the exact same problem Clorissa123 .. lol ... Except my callers would call at like 6am on a school day... I had only a cell phone that did not allow blocking of particular numbers (either had to allow ALL calls or BLOCK ALL calls).. the annoying lil $|-|!t would change his phone number several times in a month to continue this.. eventually I just changed my phone number.

Hopefully he doesn't stalk me or anything like that. He just bored with his life. Nothing else.

When I was young, my parents always taught me not to call people before 9am. Of course, some people would still be sleeping, but its a safe time to assume that people are awake by. I still usually wait until even later, though. I get up for work at 8 am, but my mom still insists on calling me at 7 in the morning if she needs me. She does this at least once a week and it drives me crazy!

I think we all begin to know our friends, though, so I wouldn't call my friends who I know sleep in later. I think the 9am thing is more for people I don't know. Also, I was a child at the time, and children don't generally sleep in.

Your mom taught you well. But I won't be get up around 9:00 A.M. in the morning either. At least call me around 11:00 A.M. or after that hour should be the best time. I am lazy tha I admit it.

If you really want to sleep well you should switch off your phone or keep it in the silent mode. I think he should not have called you just to play a game as early as that.If it was an emergency call then its OK even if the calls come at midnight. Is he close with you ?Has he taken that leniene to call you at that hour to play?

Something wrong with him this morning, and I simply rejected him, and tell him that "hey dude, come on, it is saturday morning, and I should get some sleep." I simply hung up and fall back to sleep again.

I absolutely hate that! Those retards. Why the hell would you call somebody early in the morning!? Back in high school, my friend called me at 5 in the morning to see if we have school today! And I'm waking up, like Wtf.... It is not labor day, you could look the date up on your cell phone or computer or something. Wasting my time, annoying me, etc. I used to turn off my phone also, but I realize what is a cell phone call is really important. Thanks for posting this topic and have a nice day.

I find it irritating if I get a call from work outside office hours, specially during weekends regardless of the time. That's the one drawback of having an office-issued cellphone people can just diturb you on your private time.

people having an important work with me calls me in the morning and its opposite with me that if any one calls me in the morning i thank them that they have waken me up otherwise i should have been sleeping till 10 or more, so u have saved my time which i would have wasted in sleeping. sleeping is not important for me and i consider it a time wasting stuff, there are many things to do in this world rather than to sleep.

I don't mind much if I have slept at least for 5 hours... But sometimes I get irritated when people call me for no obvious reason. You got an interesting call, it would have been fun...

That is what I meant, call me for what? When I need rest the most, and call me by that hour? I just couldn't pick the call at all. I thought it should be an emergency, so I have to take that call.

yes i hate to receive calls or messages in the morning. i value weekends because i get to sleep late. having someone call me early on a weekend morning really irks me to no end. same as you, i would have switched off my mobile phone if i weren't worried that there might be an emergency call coming in. hopefully people will begin to realise that the only civilised time to call / message others is after 10am on weekends.

yes thats the problem you have to leave the phone on for emergencies. it happens to me a lot because 3 of my kids and most other family members live thousands of miles away and im in AZ, USA where the time never gets adjusted, so we are like 2 to 3 hours behind other states and my people always forgets that.

Hey, Yea I really hate it, because their is so much peace and quiet and then all of a sudden, it almost makes you jump and gives me a scare. Our phone when it rings is rather loud, so it will always wake me up. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

That's what the phone's vibrate or silent function is all about. You really have to turn off your phone, keep it on silent or vibrate or these types of people will continue to call you and can even get upset at times if you don't feel like going along with their plan.

Anybody that calls my house before 9:00 a.m. had better be important. Nothing is more frustrating than an early telemarketer phone call. I could also say the say same thing about phone calls after ten at night. Anybody else feel the same?

Don't call me at all during the morning hour at weekend. I hate it so much, it is the best time for me to get rest, and not to do something crazy or stupid. It would be wasting my time in early in the morning. Relatives are no exception too.

That's why I find landline phones so damn intrusive, I hate phones, mind you I have an aversion to using the phone and I go out of my way not to use them. At least with mobiles/cellphones you can turn them off. I suppose you could disconnect the landline phone, but sods law dictates that you get an emergency call come through when you have taken the phone out! I am grumpy if I am woken especially by the phone. Especially when you get the cold callers, I keep meaning to find out about the service you can use that stops cold calling. That is damn intrusive and damn annoying too.

First of all, I would be have been so "kindly" to the caller. But that is just me. Actually, I am getting better. However, if it is one of your friends, well you can control that by telling them not to call you before a certain time. Even my relative know not to call me early in the morning, although living in different parts of the country sometimes presents a problem. Don't laugh but when I was in college, I would not take calls until after one in the afternoon. That was because we were out nights drinking and partying. My brother called me once before one. He said why are you sleep so late, half of the world is awake. I said yeah, and the other half is asleep and hung up! Oh, well hope this at least made you smile. Have a great day!

LoL~ I used to, before I changed my sleeping habits. My job is somewhat demanding and from time to time can required me to be called very early to answer questions. Although it may seem not to important at the time, it definitely is challenging when I'm in a good sleep and hearing the phone ring only to be asked a question that could be answered by someone else on staff. That would be the only part of receiving a early phone call that I wouldn't and haven't liked so far. I used to be a night-owl and would basically stay up late to weee hours in the morning causing me to oversleep a lot in the morning time, so it would prove very difficult for me to answer those early calls in the morning time. My family doesn't call me that early and if they did that I know something was wrong or that it was very IMPORTANT. Don't let early calls get to you. Just be honest and up front with the early callers and let them know your preference and preferred time for receiving calls. I'm sure you don't mind being contacted if it is a complete emergency though. Sometimes we allow our lives to be affected by the actions of others, and don't take the time to communicate with them to let them know how their actions are affecting our personal lives either in a helpful or negative manner. You could also program your phone to have your friends/family to put in a code behind their phone number so that you would know if you needed to call them back right away or not. I hope my rant and tips have been of some use to you. Happy mylotting and don't worry be HAPPY!

This is in no way more annoying then when you get woken up at like 6:00am cause some people are mowing lawns or using the leaf blower right outside your house! Cause at least when someone calls you, you have something to do, otherwise you get woken up and then what?!
