do people "tease" you about mylot??

Hi there bunnybon7 I have no one to tease me about mylot. My kids have no clue what it is really. I don't talk to any of my friends about it either because it is so not their thing so they have no opinion about it really and I don't go on about it to them either. It is so hard to get referrals!!

I am fortunate in that I am my own boss and if I want to spend all day on Mylot I have no one to judge, tease or ridicule me, however my ex used to be so damn patronizing about it, and thought it was a huge joke that I found comfort talking to people on the internet and couldn't understand how I could make friends online. I guess what people don't understand they mock and tease. But I got the last laugh because with the aid, support and advice of my friends on Mylot I had the courage to leave my ex! My ex wasn't laughing then. Mylot was my saviour.

When I first joined mylot years ago, my son would sort of tease me too. He would come up with discussions or pictures for me to post. I think he thought it was going to be a fly by night site, here it is years later and still going strong.

I get constantly beaten up for being a mylot fan. Sometimes I turn up to school and try to go social with the ladies. So I tell them about my awesome best responses around here. Never really worked however. Ok, I'm just taking the piss :) I don't get teased about mylot because I don't go verbal and public about using it! What would be the point after all, other than making myself a practical target for others? :)

I'm lucky as I don't get teased about mylot, because no body knows that I'm a member of mylot. I don't think that I know anyone who knows about mylot. So, this makes it difficult for people to tease me about it. I don't know if I'm going to tell anyone about it. Only time will tell.

My husband teases me all the time. I'll say something like "Oh, that'll make a great discussion" and he'll say "Well, how much is it worth?!"

Actually, I don't go into detail and explain the site or even name it. I just say I belong to a discussion forum. People assume it's a chat site anyway so I don't say much.

no I never heard my husband tease me about mylotting. back in the days when I spent hours here and lately that I don't really spend an hour. he doesn't like mylotting. I tried making him as my referral, he joined and then blah he never posted anything LOL he would say something if I told him some news or tips I get from people here. but everything else about mylot or my time mylotting he never concerns himself with. as long as I do housechores and attend to my small business he kind of let me do anything else I want.

Not many people knows how great this site is and mylotting has taken much of our time that those who are closed to us are deprived of our attention. And that probably inspires your son to sing the tune like that to irritate you as probably you have been mylotting endlessly and have not had a good conversation with him. When my friend call me over the phone they will inquire first whether I am mylotting again. They will forcefully bring me out for lunch or dinner in a restaurant just to break away from the computer.

Some young people just don't get it! haha. I don't get any teasing at all. At my end I get crap for doing Mylot at all. Atleast your son is in communication with you and knows what you are up to. That is a good thing. I wouldn't let it bother you at all. I would thoroughly enjoy it.

You have crossed 3 thousand posts in myLot. That means you pass many of your times in myLot. Your son know your addiction in myLot. So he is joking with you ,not teasing. He loves you very much. You are a proud mother of a jolly son.

Hello bunnybon7 That is so cute I have not been teased but if it happens would not mind someone singing to me lol I have not been here that long so people don't realize what it is I am doing considering I have always been in front of the computer this is nothing different, but I will now sing this song to myself because I feel I am lost in mylot lol Thanks for sharing.

I am new to this so i am seeing.

My wife is, always telling me, "oh, here comes daddy, but it seems he's still not around" Because, whenever I am home, I still have my phone, mylotting. I mylot in the office with my computer. And when I get home, I still go on the Lot with my phone, till midnight. As if I can't find anything to do except Lotting and as if I can't find my way to sleep, as if there is no tomorrow. lol

My husband teases me about it. I'm not usually here for hours at a time because I just can't sit in one spot that long; it hurts my back. But, whenever he comes in whatever room I'm in and sees me here, he always says, "THAT again???" So, yeah, I get teased about it. My sons haven't started teasing me yet but that's probably because they only come over once a week if that much. When they're here, I'm away from myLot but I do tend to talk about some discussions I've seen or responded to quite often. Still, they let me babble on and don't tease me. It wouldn't matter to me if everyone I knew teased me, though. I'd still be here every day no matter what.

I suggest your son can make his song release out and open to the public.Then you can upload it into youtube.I promise that will make a sensation in myLot circle

Maybe "Gods Plan" for him includes myLot? Sounds like he has a good sense of humor, have you sent him a referal? I have my payout set higher here. My husband constantly teases me about sitting and typing all day. Wiped the smile off his face when I had a tidy sum to spend...I call it my 'fun money', and I renewed my Pogo subscription. Then he was jealous, so I sent him a referal. I don't think he's done anything with it though. He lost his Club Pogo for 3 months until he scrounged the money to renew it. Some men don't learn....

Yes my boyfriend and I are both memebers here and we tease each other about the site. I have made the payout a few times but he is not on as much as he would like to be. I love the site and I could care less if someone wants to tease me. I wish I would have found the site sooner but for me I feel everything happens for a reason and life is imporant as much as my online life is. Take care and happy mylotting to you.
