have you ever wondered why dogs seem to be friendly with humans? i have always noticed that even the most misused dog by the owner would wag its tail whenever the cruel owner shows up. does it mean that the dogs have confidence in humans as opposed to other animals?

It's their nature. They are companion animals and love to receive and give attention. This probably comes from the fact that they are descendants of wolves, and wolves are pack-oriented, so they like to be together. So basically, if you have a dog, he sees your family as his pack, and he is dedicated to his pack, which is why dogs are so loving and protective of us.
