What you prefer ? Analog or digital watches ? Why ?

I prefer the analog watch because it is how a watch should look like. I pity my kids who have difficulties in telling the time because it is an analog one. Of course, I think the digital ones are more precise but appearance-wise, they are not really appealing. I love my analog watch with those lovely hands moving slowly but surely around Roman numerals. I will not even consider buying a digital one.

I prefer to wear analog watches with 5 minutes fast timings. Also, if it have the date and day facility i like it. I want my time go fast because i want to be punctual and i don't want any one to wait for me. So, i always want to finish 5 minutes before.. Also, i need date because i forget the day very much ..lol.. Have a great day.

One particular very special analog watch. why? Because 1) it's pretty and 2) that's what I was used to growing up...

I normally wear an analouge watch. However during sport I wear a digital one to track time.

I have own both an analog and digital watch and liked both. Right now I have an analog watch which has big numbers so it is easy to read. A digital watch is night if it is dark because most of them have a button that light it up. But I fine that my analog watch last long then the digital watch so when this one quits me I will more than likely get an analog watch.

I prefer both of them , they are part of our life ,i like to wear watches daily i had different collection of watches with me i use them occasionally

I like analog watches...it looks more sophisticated...plus the brands that I like, don't have digital...I like the more expensive brands of watches.

Hi, we have the same likings. Because i love to wear analog watches. That what i used to wear ever since i was a kid. maybe i just don't find it attractive to me those digital watches not so much with the worth and the service it gives. CHeers!

I like analog watches now.When I was a kid I used to like digital watches because it was easy to find time. It was difficult for me to learn how to identify time from a watch or clock. It took a of time for my Mom to teach me. At a point of time, I thought that it is something which I will never learn in my life. I think digital watches are suitable only for teenagers and kids.

hi, Phillip. I don't mind if it is analog or digital watch as long as I have a wrist watch to wear. I'm a time conscious person so, any will do. But, when I'm at home I don't ware any because I often forget to remove it every time I wash my hands or any activity that involves water.

I think this is not the first time you had a discussion started on watches ya.. and you may be really interested to know how the other MyLotters deal with their watches... As for me, I prefer analog too.. and I don't really have a digital watch beside those that we get when we are in those child age. Since started my Secondary school, I will always want to have analog watch.. You have a nice day too... any more watches discussion? I sure will come by to response to it..

I always prefer the digital watches, it just practical and precise. Especially during the exam, as the time is very crucial, i don't think i can afford to waste my time guessing my analog watch. The are some analog watches design for the lady, the hands that go around is very thin, and the numbers on the interface is the 'signature' font, it is stylish and feminine in some way, but it just not suit me that always having a hard time guessing time. Sigh..

Hi Thats a very rare question :) I like analogue watches and i don't like digital watches. My favorite brand is fast track for now. People hardly wear watches these days, its become really rare. Especially guys, very few of them wear watches.

Well I prefer digital watches because they're so much easier to tell the time with! Also, they usually come with many different features like stop watches, timers, alarms, etc. Analog watches can't do that, and sometimes it's hard to actually tell the time. Analog watches are good for fashion and to look good, but digital watches are much more useful and better for every day use.

I prefer the digital ones because they are alot easier to read. I prefer the analog ones when it comes to being waterproof though. Those seem to last longer for me.

I never knew there was such a thing as an analog watch. I would assume digital or ye old fashioned with gears that need to be wound daily or battery opperated. I don't wear one much as I don't need to here at home. I did buy a pretty one for work but my kids took off with it and I cannot find it. But my terminal has the time so it's not a big deal that I don't wear one at work.

I am Using a Analog Watch . I am Just Using it Because it is gifted by my father. Even Digital Watches are also good.

I do not like wearing watches, I find them really uncomfortable and do not understand how people can wear them! In the past twenty or so years, I have only worn a watch for a couple of months while I was travelling overseas! This was only because my travelling friend gave me one of his old ones so that we could meet up again easily if we went to see separate things on our tavels! These days my phone has a clock on it like you say, so I do not need to wear one ever again!

I like analog watch.I like the ticking of the watch as it makes me feel that the watch is alive.When I was young I used to be a great an of digital watches.I used to get surprised about the display as it seems to be a small tv screen.Also I used to like them for there stopwatch and alarm features.Now I prefer analog watch because of its different stylish models and a variety of different makes are available in the market.

Hi Phillip, I think I probably prefer digital watches overall because I can do different things with them. The last one I owned for example played music for me as well as allowing me to have times set to both British Summer Time and Greenwich Mean time so I didn't have to worry about changing it when the clocks changed. Since that broke though I have replaced it with an analogue watch and since I am older now I think that it makes me seem more sophisticated than the digital watch would have done, and so I think for that I prefer analogue (even if I would like one that would play music for me and keep two different times lol!)
