At my work place, majority of my co - workers are really friendly, and we are just like a big family. Sometimes, some of them bring breakfast for everyone, or even lunch to share. If we have longer lunch hour, we would go out for lunch together. While for others, they are just back - stabbers. They would find a perfect opportunity to stab you behind your back, so I would rather step far away from those people. Although I am working at a production area, but we have a friendly atmosphere, and always laughing. In contrast, in the office, you could feel the solemn, and people barely talk to each other, because that area usually so discriminated.

at my job we try to get together outside of work at least 1 - 2 times each month. I think it strengthens the bonds and helps us get along while working.

I agree with it. As co - workers, and is like a team, we should strengthen this bond, and we should get to know each other better. So, we can work better, and improve the quality of it.

Sometimes getting people to relate outside of work helps them understand each other better. If you knew that the person was taking care of a terminally ill child or parent, working 2 jobs to make ends meet, or going thru a divorce might help explain some of the errors they are making at work. You then know they are not just being careless or rushing thru their work.

My co-workers are like my second family, much like yours. We have a blast at work and always talk to each other. I work at a seasonal water park, and after the season is over we still try to hang out. We go to a frightfest celebration and go eat once or twice throughout the year before the next season rolls around. I have been there six year, a supervisor for 4, and I love my team. They are probably my best friends as I know that I can always count on them and they know that they can count on me. I am supervisor on the clock, friend off. They all tell me Im great at it, but I just do my best. Happy mylotting!

I love to hear people treat their team mates as their family, it is the type of work environment I am looking for, and I always enjoy hanging out with some friends from work. Why can't we be friend right? We can work together, and we can be friends the same time. It is part of making bond.

I am the owner of my small unit. We have 10 workers. I am not rash in handling them. I guide them several times. But if they continue doing the same mistakes i slowly raise my aggressiveness. Finally i burst out... but veryyyy rarely thx

wow, so you are a leader or a supervisor? If you are the leader of this team, you should have bigger responsibility as a role model. And you have to do better job to show how you handle different situations. Way to go, and hopefully you would keep up the good job there.
