Are you ready for a change?

Have you ever stopped to consider how life begins anew every minute of every day? Our lives can be turned upside down in an instant, as many of us have discovered, but it also means that we can make a new beginning whenever we want. This doesn't mean that we have to suddenly quit our job, leave our spouse or decide to immigrate to another country. It does mean that we have the opportunity to change ourselves and the way we react to those around us. Some people are always moving, always changing jobs but never find what they're looking for because they take themselves with them, it's the one thing they forget to change. For many there may be no need to change, you may be content with your life, but for those who are not, lets see what a change in attitude can do.

You are so right, I am going through this right now with a grandson, he has been in trouble with the law already twice this month, he has actually been barred from my property and his mother's and all you can get out of him is, I haven't done anything, it is that attitude that has to change. You can move every month, but you will always find something wrong, same as with a job, untill you can confront the fact that maybe it is you doing something wrong, then don't matter what you do you will not be satisfied.

It is the attitude it is unreal, and I see this in a lot of the younger ones now a days. I wonder what our country will be like if these people will some day run it. They somehow can not see where they are doing any thing wrong, and I guess easier to blame the other person or situation.

Hi bdugas, Thank you for commenting, if he is still in his teens it may not last long but you're right,we all have to confront the fact that the problem may be with us. Blessings.

Hello Pose I will have to agree with the other comments was made. You have to be prepared for the sudden life changes. I learned this the hard way. My husband got laid off the first of this year. We was no way prepared for it. Life took a big toll on us because of it. He has since been called out back but only for a few days. He is again laid off. We had to make some changes in our life over this, and it looks like there may be more changes coming our way. I just hope that we can handle it. Life is something that I do respect and want to live for a long time. We just have to be strong..You have a nice day...

i believe life is just like a flowing stream it ends when it stops flowing. i have always changed myself as per life's demand sometimes positive sometimes negative when things got overwhelming for me.but yes my childhood friends do get surprise at the tremendous amount of change i have got into my personality. they still wonder how a completely mum girl turned so chatty.

Hello dear Pose. It is a new change in life every day. So long as we live, I think that every new day is a day where there are some new changes. We wish to change it for a better one. You are right that our attitude counts a lot in the changes we make. A positive attitude towards a change is surely a change that makes us feel more of ourselves. Take care, Pose.

Hey, Yea I sort of need to change some aspects of my life. I think that many people around us also need to change, because even if we change and become better people, the people around us won't and will make our lives a misery. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

Hi EliteUser, Thank you for sharing your thoughts here. The problem is we have no control over other people, nor should we, we can however change ourselves. I don't think that others can make our lives miserable unless we let them. Never give another that kind of power over you. Blessings.

I choose to be content with who I am in life. Sometimes I don't like where I am and will take a few steps back and survey how I can change myself. I know from being a Christian that some people do try to force the Christian belief on others. This is not right because every man and every woman or child has the right the free will to be what they want. Attitudes I think have a lot to do with how people think of us. How they see us. Whether it be stuck-up or lazy. God Bless.

As my father always said every morning "did youknow that today is the first day of the rest of your life?" And you know what? That always was the first day of the rest of our lives!! The best thing we can do in life is to be prepared for anything that may come ourway. We don't need to purposely make drastic changes unless something in our lives call for those changes, but if life changes, we need to be prepared.

I decided that from now on I'm going to be thankful for all my blessings and to dedicate myself to those causes that are important to me like helping kids and animals since they are the most vulnerable and need our assistance. Also, I need to be a good role model to my kids ,so they can learn to be kind and compassionate.

In the past thirty years, china has seen a large number of wealthy people, who fall into two categories, one dedicated for a set goal with good background, the other from the bottom of the society, say the unemployed. For people who have stable income, it is really hard to initiate a change, which is likely linked with risks. When squeezed to the corner, it is a good time to think for a change, which may also lead to a rosy future.

As the old saying says, "the only thing that is constant in this world is change," and I believe that myself. In my case, ever since I have started viewing life positively, I have also started accepting every change in my life with a lighter heart. I truly believe that constant change in any negative behavior that we see in us help mold us more to become better person. God bless!:)

The only thing that is constant in this world. It is everywhere. It happens like what you have said every minute. The only thing for us to survive is to embrace change. We will stagnate if we don't. We have to move on and move forward. Change does not mean sacrificing our principles. It means you are open to new possibilities.

If there is really a need to change then we should but running away from the situations or moving or quitting jobs is not a good way i know its easy to say that we should change ourselves first and more than that pointing out others but we must improve ourselves , im satisfied with the way i am though a little bit of change is needed:)
