Do you afraid of God if you commit a sin?

I am afraid to commit excessive sins which is a mortal sin. but, people are humans capable of sinning. because of this we are qualified to suffer from consequences of action. But, because God is all forgiving and have merciful heart. He learn to forget and forgives your sin if you ask for his comfort, sympathy and forgiveness..

Hi Rajupaul. I have great respect for God, and when I sin, I know that all I need to do is not commit that sin any more, take it to God, and ask him to forgive me and help me not sin. God knows we are human and that we WILL sin from time to time, but as long as we are sincere about repenting, he will always forgive. Karen

hi raj when we do sin, we are afraid of punishment be it from the law/constitution or from god .. if there was no punishment ... we might all be devils !!!

I am afraid fo god becaue my religion says god will punish me if I do sins. More than that, I want to be a nice person and live a life which is an example to others as far as I can. My religion also says I will get hell or heaven according to the deeds I do in the earth. So, I should be careful and try my best not to commit sins.

Hello Raju, You are right, according to the bible, all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God! This can be a very disheartening thought which could get a bit complicated so before I go any further let me just add that the first thing we need to do is to forgive ourselves...Next we must ask God for forgiveness. You are right again, we sometimes commit sins on a daily basis, whether knowingly or unknowingly. So whenever I do happen to sin, I simply say, Lord forgive me, then I go on my way. The bible says there is a time for all things. So I don't feel like I have to make my prayers all long or drawn out. There will be time for that at a later date. But while I"m thinking about the sin that I just recently committed. Whether it was a little white lie. Or failure to accomplish all my task in one day that I had planned. I can simply say, Lord forgive me. This allows me to clear my conscious and to have a better outlook and perhaps more strength for the next immediate task at hand. Happy mylot!

Sin,its being a happening that we all believe to be not good,as being humans we believe in that super natural power,GOD.Humans have as far as they as individuals are concerned,committed a lot of mistakes that may or may not be due to the choice of a person. The sins that we call it,have made humans be a little of afraid of not doing bad ,to any one or any way.These beliefs are doing a good job as far as the people's mentality is concerned.God,whom we all fear,gives us a impression that the sins will even pay off when more and more good things are done to the world as a whole.Humans must give apologies to themselves and that's what has the beliefs made everyone do to live in this planet with peace.

I am not afraid but I do give it alot of thought when I have sinned. I do ask for forgiveness from God when I have sinned. I do hope he accepts my apology for doing so. We will know in time.

Hello my friend rajupaul Ji, You are cent percent right that everyone of us has committed big or small sin, knowingly or even un-knowingly. If one realizes sin, on eautomatically confesses. I try to reconcile with God right away if I am aware that I have committed a sin. I say I am sorry. Most of my sins come from my thoughts like I would wish that reckless driver gets a dose of his own medicine. I shouldn't have wished that. So I apologize to God. I am afraid of God in the sense that He is not happy with what I've done. It is a shame because He loves me dearly. In another context, as the Bible says, fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

I fear God too but doing something bad is something that none of us can avoid, most specially if we lacked faith and determination to do good or change. God is not a loose cannon, he's all knowing and Loving, he has capacity for mercy despite being the "powerful being"

Yes i afraid of god. and mostly when i commit a sin. I generally avoid doing bad things but i feel now it has become imposible living with free mind by doing only good things. during doing some good work you will find yourself alone. And every time almost i am alone when i try to do even , no matter small or big thing. But when ever i commit a sin i feel guilty.

yaa....I am afraid of GOD..without commit a sin...because i know....if i commit a sin..then their is a chance to iprove it....and agree with that line...remove to sin not to a sinner...so i afraid of GOD..
