How to attract members to get RESPONSES?

If you spend your time responding on discussions which you find interesting for the time being and also adding a few friends as you go along, then you will find that you can then start a discussion and those users will see it on their 'friends started' list and might respond if they can relate to the topic. Make the topic something of general interest rather than something that only a few users can relate to and hopefully you will have a lot more responses than recently. Good luck!
