Hi Mylotters I really enjoy the taste of good outdoor BBQ curenntly I have two types of grills in my yard I have a traditional charcoal grill and also a gas grill I have used cooked with both of them and was trying to decide which gives off the best flavor? If I had to choose I would have to say the Charcoal grill because it has that authentic charcoal flavoring to it that you can't get with just seasoning,. The Charcoal grill just seems to taste better,... now the Gas grill has it advantages too such as it heats quicker,no lighter fluid needed but to me it cooks the meat to fast I like it when the coals die down you can still cook on it but not a gas one once it out its out lol. I like to use hickory chips from time to time for added flavor. By the way does anyone else out there think that the WEBER grills are overpriced? I know your paying for the name but gee they are expenisve for such little grill space.

Wouldn't really know on the price of weber grills. I prefer all my outdoor cooking be done on a Smoker. Don't ever have to buy them myself seein as my hubby builds them for fun. We have a new smoker once a week to try out. But Smokers are the best way to go..(im a lil partial lol)

I love food cooked over charcoal. I love the flavor. Weber brand grills are getting expensive.

I have both too. I prefer the charcoal grill in the summer. I use my gas grill in the winter a lot because it is easier and faster and you don't have to brave the elements as long and still tastes pretty good when the snow is flying!
