What is the most painful moment in your life?

I asked this question because as of now I am experiencing again the pain that I hated so much. This is the toughest event that I was felt inside which i know it will last until the day I recover. At this moment I can't explain the pain....it's really hurt.
My friends, have you gone through this feelings? What i mean is someone you love got hurt you?

The end of my first week of university, I got a phone call telling me that one of my best friends had been killed in a car crash. She was 22.
At first I was stunned, then angry and then sad. I don't think it's something that you can quite "get over" but I know that she wouldn't have wanted me constantly living in the past and that I needed to get on with my life. Almost "to make her proud"...y'know?

Ya it was the day when I learnt that the gal I loved the most is loving someone else and is going to get married. And the saddest part of it is She dumped me for that another guy.
However its a long time ago and now its nothing but a sad memory...

For me was when I found out my ex was two timing me (at that time, my boyfriend) He was nice and everything and I thought he was serious about me. It appeared that he was unsure of our relationship so he find a spare for just in case scenario. I was so angry that I ceased all connection with him. I can accept the unsure part but not being cheated. He can just talk and ask.

I know it was too long ago to answer your comment too. But all i wantto express my feelings too toward this topic. It was really painful to know that our love one has cheated us for the reason that they are not sure with their feelings. Sometimes they got it as a scape. Until now i still feel the pain inside..
