By stealing, means, taking some change from your mother or fathers purse and then getting caught, or when we were small kids, stealing a pen or a pencil from your friends and getting caught.Share your experiences.

i don't know if this really considered being caught stealing but once when i was little my mom took me to the movies and she told me she doesn't have any money to get us popcorn so i went in room found all this change and told her that it was mine. then after we bought the popcorn she said i know what you did you took my change from my room. and i was thinking how did you know this. and shes pretty much like i'm not stupid. i guess she was trying to accuse me then if i admitted i did it and if i didn't then that means i didn't do it she does that to me now. but i'm smart and i learned never to admit it until they have proof. hahah i'm so serious.

Once I did because I was so mad they wouldnt let me go on a there trip with them which my mom and sister went to atlanta to see family and I wanted to see them but it was a mother daughter trip. So I was mad and bought my self an ipod because mine broke and figured that would cost the same or less as a plane ticket and all the food I would of eaten down there.

Well, atleast you did not waste it on other things, but purchased a useful music player. Good. Thanks for the response.

As a child, I probably stole like $2 once to play this arcade game machine, and she never ended up noticing, which was a good thing for me, as I didn't get in trouble and still got to play the arcade machine game! It was one of those where you win prizes. I would never though steal in my life. As a catholic, I just can't do it.

Well pweety_princess, you have not mentioned, whether you have won any prizes in the arcade games. Whether you are catholic or protestant or belong to any other religion, one should never steal, the simple reason being, just think of the person who has lost his things, due to robbery. The person will be absolutely devastated, when he looses, something for which he has worked very hard.

I´m sure my mom knew that I stole coins to get candy after school when I was little. She was always talking about how dirty that candy was and how many flies would have laid their eggs there. But she never said any direct thing. I did the same with my kids. I believe stealing is usual in little children and they grow out of that. I remember, many years ago, I went to a friend´s house (she was a lot younger than me and has a small daughter). She greeted me whispering to take hold of my purse because her girl was in the stealing stage. I thought it was a nice way to put it. Later that day, I bought some horrid jewelry the girl was making and selling (the kind with coloured pasta). We were all happy and I had a lovely day. She is now a grown up woman and loves me.
