What is the weirdest or strangest combination of foods that you have put together to create a meal or a dish? What really diverse or different ingredients have you put together and come up with a unique and very tasty dish? Don't be shy even if it is really really strange I would like to hear about it?

Probably greek onion patties and Japanese fried sweet noodles, meal-wise. Recipe wise...hmm. I'm not sure, actually. I usually just do alot of different dishes from different cultures. I've done dutch, german, chinese, thai, japanese, american, european, cajun, mexican....I get around. The strangest dessert I've probably ever made is fruit ice cream in cinnamon and sugar coated tacos.

Well, there was none left after dinner, so I suppose it was good. xD And the dessert tacos were yummy! Good healthy dessert for summertime, for sure. xD

Sounds like a very weird combination - was it nice together? The tacos dessert sounds nice too. I used to have apple crumble with strawberry yoghurt, very tasty!

I like to try new things all the time. My grandmother taught me how to make her version of a type of sweet and sour chicken using apricot preserves and french salad dressing. My mother also taught me her recipe for potato salad, where she puts apples in it, its really good believe it or not.

At a hotel once they had chicken with apricots on the menu, I was a bit dubious when I saw it but decided to go for it. The chicken and sauce were very nice but they had whole dried apricots in it. I think it would have been much better without the hugh apricots in it.
