Even though my son has a laptop upstairs my computer is like grand central station. Along with myself my son uses it my daughter uses it and my husband uses it. I don't mind except when someone else boots the computer and opens the browser without restoring my tabs! Husband is famous for that. He does not get on that much so he always forgets...aayyhh!

lamborghini laptop - an elegant and handsome black or yellow lamborghini laptop
Fortunately, nobody knows much to use the computer except me. When I bought my new laptop, I fixed my old desktop and that's what my younger cousin who is living with me use and also my father (who is still a naive computer user LoL) whenever they come at my place every weekend. When my boyfriend visits my house and stays a couple of days, he make sure to bring his own so we don't have any problem with computer time sharing.^^;;

good story, my daughter does the same, bringing her laptop with her when she comes home to visit. Sometimes there have been three of us in the same room just visiting yet on our computers at the same time. Hey that just gave me an idea for another discussion topic!

hi dev! have you started your new discusssion?^^;; it's really hard to share computer time because sometimes we have the same scheduled tasks to do over the internet and i don't like the that someone is waiting for me to finish so he/she can use it too. i'm not selfish, just that i want to use the computer freely.^^;;

I hate when that happens espically if you are busy doing something on the computer and someone closes the tabs online. Then you have to start all over again and research what you are doing. My mother does that. She likes to play games online.

wow, that's a lot of people! How do you all have time to get on? Does anyone ever get frustrated or in an argument because they are ready for their turn or have to get off before they are ready?

Hello Although I am using my daughters lap-top its my grandson that drives me nuts, he likes to watch videos on youtube so he is constantly asking are you almost done, my daughter barely gets on, I have a desk top but she is not feeling well at this time, I think she has a " virus" thanks to my sister , as long as I can get my grandson to focus on something else I am o.k lol Thank you.

Hey, Well only I use the computer, since I bought it and mainly because everyone inside my house has their own computer, except my mother, she doesn't really use the computer that often. But I like it when only I use my laptop, just gives me more space. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

My home PC is shared by my whole family all along and there are times when a few of us would fight over using the one and only home PC, but now, both my brother and I has got our own personal mac.book se we as a result use our own mac.book most of the time because we can have more privacy of our own personal stuffs. Now, our home PC is use by my mum and my aunty most of the time and they never had any issues of fighting over using of the home PC because they always us it a a different time. And now, both my brother and I use the home PC only when no one is using it or when our mac.book need a rest.

I don't share my computer with anyone as I live alone. When I was married, my husand wouldn't even touch it. Now that we are divorced, he still doesn't use it as he doesn't know anything about them. I like the fact i don't have to share my computer, so I can do whatever I want and no one to tell me that I can't. Since I have been living alone for several years, having my computer helps me to keep my mind off things. I don't know what I would do without my computer as coming into mylot is the best thing I could have ever done. Take care, and happy mylotting.

I understand just what you are saying. and yes the internet opens the world up to us in ways we never could before. I can go so many places without leaving my desk and I have friends that live not only across the country but across the world. Those people who choose not to go online because they don't know how to use a computer, well...they just don't know what they are missing. MyLot has a specialness to it also. People come here lookin to make a buck but find something they never expected with friendships and helpful people and people here are good to one another...hard to explain. So anyway thanks

Well with no one except on a few occasions when some of my friends or cousin come to my place. My pc have only a single user and thats me. No one at my home touches my pc. Neither my Dad nor my Mom. Also my friends and relatives if they visit my place and want to use my computer, then they have to take my permission coz its password protected.lol!!!!

I share my laptop only with my room mate.I mostly lock my personal files so I remain carefree about that.I don't like to share with outside people.When somebody comes to my room I mostly hide my laptop.It is just irritating when someone goes through personal files.

We have one pc and one laptop, and there are 4 of us who uses the computer. It's a first come first save bases and take turns. But mostly I was the one using both. Since two were in school and one at work the whole day, I got the chance to choose and use one of the computers at a time. I sometimes let my cousin use one so it makes her five.

Me, Myself, and I. Oh yes, and my kitty too who does need to jump up and stand right in front of the screen (thankfully only once or twice a day). She shares the keyboard too when needs to keep me from typing or staying online too. ;o) Yes, I guess that makes me spoiled, but I saved up for it. I hope to start using a laptop again some time.

Well, it's just me and a friend. He's not really computer literate and he asks me to help him out with most things. He likes to do things like his accounting so he asks me to sort out the security and antivirus software and things like that. I've not given him an Administrator account though so he cannot change any settings or anything like that. I'm the computer administrator here and I guess I have studied computer maintenance and installation so I keep a close eye as regards what takes place on my pc. Andrew

It's between me and 3 children so we have to coordinate our days around it - LOL. Not so much now because school is back in full swing but this summer was a challenge. I just set up a few users and if they want to do something they have to switch users over to their own desk top. This has saved me a lot of frustration because I don't want my own desk top being filled up with game sites or youtube clips.

Me and my little brother share the computer. Sometimes we fight but i don't find it difficult. He doesn't disturb me when i'm working and in the same way i don't disturb him when he is working. :)

I own my laptop but I have to share it with my 3 siblings including my 4year-old baby brother since our desktop and the other laptop crashed. It's actually fine with me but I am just worried about my laptop since it never gets to rest. I think it's always on most of the day.
