I bought a SAMSUNG LCD monitor because I thought its a better brand but the quality of the picture is not that clear. I should have chosen VIEWSONIC. What do you think?

Yes, I also got same problem. I bought samsung 21.5", B 2230. It is really really blur. I already adjusted all the setting. Auto adjust, manual adjust. Blur!. I already changed my resolution. Blur!. I think, SAMSUNG is only good in LCD TV. Very bad in LCD monitor.

I have a Samsung Lcd monitor and there are four rectangles to press that will make it clearer. The first one is the brightness and contrast that we set at 80. Next the Magic Bright that we set at custom, brightness at 80, and the auto adjustment. Also there is the resolution that might be a bit out. If you cannot do it yourself, get a friend of yours who is computer and monitor savy to do it for you.

I also wanted to buy a SAMSUNG LCD monitor, but what you have mentioned, makes me scared. Can you tell me more about this. Since I have planned to purchase this monitor, this month, it will be very helpful, if you can give me more information.

hi watarikenji well I too have a Samsung LCD monitor that is p robably three years old and its as clear as crystal. have you called the people you bought it from and does it have a guarantee, you should do this and tell them your problem. I have never seen my monitor blurred, that is odd and upsetting. I am not a electronics whiz so am not sure why it is blurred. I would like to know too what would cause this as I also own this same brand.

It might be your video card needs replacing or your resolution just needs to be adjusted, or the settings on your monitor needs to be tweaked. I bought a new monitor (NOT a Samsung LCD) & about a week later it was blurred. I felt frustrated!!! Then I began to notice that when I walked up to my chair it would clear up for a second & then blur again. I always start with the simple crap so I checked the connection. Sure enough when I touched the cord, the monitor cleared up. I turned it loose, it went blurry. So, I tightened the connections & everything cleared up. I knew that I had tightened the connections real good when I first bought it as I had used a screwdriver to tighten it just to make sure there was a good connection. Well, it didn't matter what I knew I had done as it wasn't tight right now. I tightened ALL the connections again & gave it one extra twist just to be sure again it was good & tight. About a week later, it was blurred again. Once again, I touch the wire & it clears up. Once again I had to tighten the screws. This went on for about a month. To this day I have NO clue how the connections kept loosening up. I live alone except for 2 cats & I blame a lot of things on them, but I don't think they were messing with the connections to my monitor!!! The one thing I know for sure is I'd be taking that monitor back to where I bought it & ask to exchange it for a working one!!!My only dealings with Samsung has been my cell phone & I love it!!!
