I have eaten chicken biryani many times when I was in India, but I haven't tried the one with mutton, actually I'm not sure if there's one! I like chicken biryani and this is one of the food I really like in India and also the bread garlic naan.

mutton biryani is more popular but many people nowadays avoid red meat so chicken biryani is popular too. Also mutton takes more time to cook so in the slow cooking process, the juices of mutton tend to mix with the rice in a better way thus enhancing the flavour of the rice.

Can't really say that I have eaten rice cooked in this fashion. What's the difference? Is there some sort of special way it is prepared or is it mixed with some other ingredients? Inform us people that haven't eaten it yet.

well i am afraid i won't be able to tell you much about its making. Because it is not easy to make. So many ingredients are used. But the taste is awesome. you can find its recipe on internet. They are easily available. Try it and you will love it.. Normally chicken biryani or mutton biryani is more famous. But there are many types of it.

Biryani is of course a complete food in itself. In the days of the kings, it is said that huge amount of rice, meat and spices were just mixed and cooked together to feed the army and thus biryani was born. Your profile says you’re from Denmark so I really don’t know where you tasted biryani. Here in India, it can be called something of the national dish. There are many variations of the biryani, depending on the region where it is from. Each region of India has its own local cuisine with special spices and flavour…the biryani too varies in its taste but it basically has rice and meat and so is a healthy complete meal.

I have eaten that many times and I have to admit that I simply adore eating briani as they call it here in London, there is only one place where we prepare that near my place, I often buy there only, it is very tasty and one among my favorite dish too.
