I don't like war; I don't like it when people die. I believe that any war would be wrong, unless we are protecting ourselves from an alien invasion like the movie independence day. It was good to see all the countries united under one cause.

Just after the elections someone asked Bush if he felt the war in Irag was another VietNam. I was an infant during VietNam, but I think the view of the war nationally is similar and wonder if we'll honor the troops who fought there or be ashamed of the interaction as a nation when all is said and done.

most people dont like war, but some could say that war has been a necessity in most instances. without war, this wouldn't be the United States of America; Hitler might have succeeded in his sick plot; many people from many generations would have lost their heritage. the main thing is that you remain loyal to your country, your people and yourself. even if i dont support the war in Iraq right now, i absolutely support all of our men and women who have given up everything to protect us and our way of life. it would be wonderful if all the nations on earth could come together for the greater good of man, but i doubt that will ever happen.
