American. Native dishes are chicken, hamburgers hot dogs, corn bread. Steak and potatoes. But I love spicy rice dishes. There is an India restaurant just down the road from me, and they make the best lamb curry. I've tried to make it at home, and never comes out right.

I am not an Indian but I like and appreciate Indian food. My husband lived there for 3 years and apart from the wonderful sights, Indian cusine is one of the best in the world. My favorite is the chicken tikka (boneless, dry), the basmati rice (although sikkim rice is the best I have tasted so far), dahl, chapati and plain nan. Just delicious!!!

I am a Filipino by origin but has lived in lots of places due to my husband's work. Filipino cusine is great as well but does not use a lot of spices unlike Indian cuisine. That makes it really tasty and eating it becomes a pleasure of endless discoveries. I often wonder what's in my food - cardamom, ginger, cloves, mustard seeds???

I love Indian food such as Dosai, Roti Prata, Roti John, Chapati, Indian Rojak and Mee Gorong. But I seldom gets to eat Indian food nowadays because I'm now watching my diet in order to keep fit so I will be cutting down a lot on oily and fried food. But still, I'll have it once in a while, maybe like once or twice a month will do. The last time I had Indian food was last month when I ate Dosai for dinner.

Chapat is common both in south and north. But both eat both types of food but i just told which is common in which area. What are the common food of your country.

Hi Sanjeevdr I like Idian food a lot especially the spices I am a big fan of Curry and Cumin I use it on rice every time I cook it. I also use those spices on chicken ,fish ,turkey ect.. I love the way they smell. My sister married a Hindu about 15 years ago and she learned to cook the food that he likes from his native country I am not sure what a lot of the dishes are called I just know there good One thing she made was called Dahl? Not sure if I spelled it right but thats really good and there was something with peas and potatoes in it that was really spicey but it was good I had to eat some plain yogurt or sour cream with it to minimize the heat because that food was really spicey lol
