Being here, in MyLot make you like reading more ?

The only common ground we have by being here in MyLot is extra money. Probably not everybody like reading as a hobby.
I just show my father MyLot and explain to him what do I do in here to earn extra money and have some fun at the same time. My father was 68 years old and he used to work for one newspaper as a journalist.
He kind of read some of the discussion, and he said "You have to like reading to enjoy mylotting".
I realized that it might be true. That's all we do in here, we have to READ the discussion.
If you already like reading you might have no problem enjoying mylot. Now if you do not have reading as a hobby, is mylotting make you enjoy reading more?

it sure is true. some posts are way too big and have long lines where others do not like. mylotting is a way on how we can express out and say what we have to say on the views, opinions and everything we have in mind.
i love reading but not all the time that i like reading this kind of things. but here in mylot, they make me love it more. i was now more eager to know and i become a fast reader as well.. it also improves some of the skills we have yet forgotten. and i surely thanks mylot for that...

As far as i feel, it works both ways. I do enjoy reading those discussions which interest me and at the same time for extra money you do tend to read something that you are not that interested in.

One of the reasons why I have not reached the minimum payout is because I sometimes just read the discussions, but don't make any responses. This is also one reason why I don't start discussions because there are so many topics to choose from if you really want to respond and be part of discussions.

I have always loved to read and this definitely makes top of the list in terms of my favourite hobbies! I think that My Lot helps in your reading as you constantly have to read discussions in order to respond to them. There's also a lot of fun to be had on My Lot, some of the dicussions are really humourous and quite funny. I cannot get enough of reading and if I had my own way I would have a library of my own! i dont really like reading a lot but i enjoy learning new stuff so being here at MyLot satisfies my craving for learning. I think being able to know different people and learning different views and opinions are the motivations I have so I continue reading. Eventually maybe i'd enjoy reading even stuff that are not really source of important information. And also the motivation of me getting paid keeps me reading and reading even thoug I hate straining my eyes. :D

when you enjoy reading, then you will learn a lot. i can say that i enjoy reading too thats why i am at mylot and with that i learn a lot. specially on how people react from one discussion to another. some will start with a simple discussion that sometimes lead to a misunderstanding then sometimes from a simple discussion you learn how to deal and respect others opinion. it is really fun to be at mylot, not just because you will earn. the earning is not much but the wisdom and the things you can learn here is more than enough.

I don't have a problem reading because I love to read. The only problem I seem to be having is being addicted to Mylot which prevents me from reading my books. I just ordered two books in the mail. Hopefully they will be good enough to pull me away from Mylot long enough to read them.

For me, I kinda agree with your dad. If some one has no interest in writing or reading, then they will not going to do any thing at Mylot!
Some of the teen-ager I know, They just think it is so hard to read and respond to a discussion. This show that they have no interest in reading and writing at all.
I am not so into reading , but I still consider Mylot is a good place for me to learn read and I just enjoy mylotting here.

frankly i hate reading, no wonder i almost fell asleep when ever i am typing a discussion. just imagine my hands are still active while my head heads to the monitor and sleep. but yeah, i learned and got used to a bit reading since it's a persons knowledge or experience that am reading, rather than some news @kevchua (1004)

I do read some noteworthy discussions, while the rest, I'd just skim to get an idea of what the content is, and then move on. If I like the discussion, I'd read deeper and comment. If not, i'd just let it pass. But one thing's for sure - I've learnt a couple of things from ppl all over the world here.

I totally agree with what your father said. As we all know mylotting requires reading. If you're too lazy to read then you will not enjoy it here. On my case, I didn't have any trouble here in mylot since I really love to read even before I joined here. I used to read blogs and discussions over the internet. I'm doing that before even without being compensated. Good thing there is mylot. Here I got to do what I love to do as well as earn from it.
