Yale Student Annie Lee - found dead in basement

A Yale Student Annie Lee suppose to get married this past Sunday was found dead in the basement of Yale University. Is this just so horrible. I can't understand what is going on in this world. Is it the beginning of the end? So much crime happening all over. Now the students at Yale have to be so scared not knowing where the killer is. I feel so bad for the man who was to be her husband. To have the wedding taken away from both of them is just horrible. I can't imagine what her family is going thru. How many more people are going to die at our schools and colleges before something is done to stop it from happening in the first place. Shouldn't there be cops canvassing the schools all the time, not just security guards. I think so. What are your thoughts or comments on this brutal murder.

I do think there needs to be more security and more detailed background checks. I also think that the punishments need to be more severe. Sadly, there are sick ppl in our world that don't think twice at taking another life. I don't blame the students and teachers for being scared...I would be too.

Yes, its a shame when people can't go to a school or work at a school in safety.

It is a very sad thing . I really don't understand why so many bad things go on. I HEARD ON THE NEWS AWHILE AGO THEY HAVE ARRESTED A PERSON OF INTEREST. I can't imagine what the motive was & am anxious to hear more about it.

I haven't heard that yet. I hope they have caught the killer so the college students can be put too ease not to mention the parents of Annie Lee. I just can't believe the brutality of it all. Some are thinking the motive is that the killer was obsessed with her. Knowing she was getting married took him over the edge. This is like a movie and its just so horrible. I can't imagine what her fiance is going thru right now. Thank you for responding.
