Do you feel somehow that your life is routine?

Sometimes I feel that my everyday life is a routine. That is a very depressing feeling. I believe we really need to do something new everyday. Small things can add spice in our life. We must try hard not to make our lives plain and dull. Its not healthy to just go on our routine schedules. We will never feel complete and fulfilled if we do that. We need to find ourselves. We need to put heart in everything we do. In doing that, we will be happy in whatever outcome and best of all, our inner desire and happiness will reflects to our work. I think the common mistake we are doing is: we are doing what we thought were the right things, which caused us not to lived a better life. We are not allowing ourselves to be what we are and discover the true us. What do you think? Are you also guilty of that somehow?

I had and have the same feeling like you do. Before I lived in Beijing and my life was routine. I went to work and back home, then I watched TV and after the night news I went to sleep. Then next morning I repeated similar things like yesterday. I was fed up with the life and moved to the UK, but it seems I drop in another routine life. I get up in the morning then I turn on my laptop and surf on line. Then cook and watch TV in night. I take walking exercise one time daily. On weekends I go to supermarket for weekly shopping and go to some tourist site to have a view. That’s all my life. Routine, boring and quiet life.

We should really do unwind once in a while. It should not be all work. At least once or twice a week go out w/ your family, eat lunch or dinner outside, watch a movie, go to park... It should not be expensive as long as your are having quality time. Its so nice to have a stress free day.

Hi Lovelyn, I think the clutter of tasks and errands need not rule your life...waking up, preparing for your day, going to work or school, working, recreation, social activities, shopping, and errands--these are what your life is made of. Are you able to accomplish your routine activities efficiently? Or do you feel like you are spending much of your time running around accomplishing little? You can revise your habits so that you focus on taking care of your time, yourself, your money, and your information. And you can establish these habits as sustainable, not just as quick fixes or temporary resolutions. I believe the best feeling in the world is realizing you are perfectly happy without the things you thought you needed. Thanks

Sometimes our mind gets crowded with all of the things we need to do. We forgot to have fun. I think we need to put our hearts in everything we do. Doing our responsibilities' good but must not just do it because we are only obliged to. Choosing carrer wisely will make us accomplish our task more productively and efficiently. We must do what really interest us.
