Have you had a crush on your child's teacher?

Last night was my oldest son's curriculum night, where you go and follow the child's schedule and each teacher talks about class rules, what the children will learn, how they grade the students, etc etc. Most of my son's teachers are very young, probably younger than me, also they're all quite nice looking. I was thinking about that during some of his classes "Why couldn't my teachers be this cute when I was in school... I may have gotten better grades". His math teacher was especially cute, I have to admit!! But I'm a happily married woman and am only allowed to look, not touch! Have you ever had a crush on one of your child's teachers? Has your child had an attractive, young teacher?

No crush on any of my kids teachers. They have all been women and I think the young ones at that are in their 40's. Though there is some sort of an Aide I've seen floating around school that's decent looking guy & the only guy there too who's under 40 something as well. But you are right we are married so we can just look. Though as they say life isn't always greener on the other side.

My hubby has nothing to worry about, and he knows it. He and my family are far too important to me to throw away for a cute guy!! Of course the first thing I told hubby about the curriculum night is how cute my son's math teacher is, lol!!

No. They were not attractive in any way. My Daughter was at an all girl's High School and they did not have any male teachers. Kept the girls' mind focussed on their work. At least, that was the theory!

I don't know if that would have been better for me, or worse!! I was a bit boy crazy when I was in school. Sometimes still am, but as I said, I just like to look, my family means too much to me.

I have never had a crush on any of my son's teachers. His Gym teacher this year is pretty good looking though. I have heard other mothers commenting on it and even heard one mother making fun of another for making excuses to talk to him.

In India the education system is totally different and hectic. Teachers are really strict and student fear to talk to them. There are some Convents were children are treated well and teachers behave as good friends. And teachers being young and smart is very rare. Since i studied in a girls school i have no clue about it, but I've heard people talking about students having crush on young lecturers. This case is very very very rare.

I've never had a crush on a teacher... mine or my kids... but my older daughter who is 19 absolutely crushes on her Anthropology teacher at college LOL He is young... early 30's at most, I think... and he is all about everything that interests her. Kind of like a young Indiana Jones (even has a hat from time to time!). She has taken every class of his that is offered at the school - so much so that on the first day of the current semester, he was asking some refresher questions to gauge the knowledge level in the class. He would point to a raised hand and say "You" to choose a student to answer. When he chose my daughter, he just called her by name LOL He is also very physically attractive which means, in our house, he's been given the nickname "hottie Anthro teacher"

It sounds like her crush is helping her to learn things that will help with her chosen career. Hopefully she'll get over her crush before she's done with this school.

Unfortunately my daughter never had any good looking teachers and now my two grandsons don't have good looking teachers either so there's no one for me to have a crush on, darn it! I do remember one of my teachers from when I was growing up, Mr. Miller. He was young and had red hair, was my 5th grade teacher and I did have a crush on him. Now that I am old though, I'd like to say no more crushes for me but that wouldn't really be true because there was this one young doctor at the hospital that I had a little doctor crush on. He was so nice!

Well, my oldest is only in first grade, so not yet. But her teacher this year is male and his is cute! And he has the most gorgeous eyes! I have only got to see him once when I dropped off cupcakes the other day for her birthday. So I haven't really got to talk to him because I just dropped them off and left so I didn't disturb class. He is young too, I think only like 23 years old. Which is only 5 years younger so I guess that isn't too bad lol. At least that is what I'll keep telling myself! LOL

Yes!There was a beautiful teacher when my son was in his pre k.g.school.She was young and dynamic and I couldn't resist develop a liking for her.But we can't take steps towards that crush.Well,I can understand your anticipation of the teachers you had in your school days. The same goes here too.All the teachers in the schools were old people and only I saw some nice looking lecturers in college days.Cheers!

My kids are too young to have their teachers, but I know that adults and children have totally different perspectives to judge teachers. You don't know if your teachers were attractive or not to your parents. You don't know either if your son likes his teachers. It totally depends on your own feeling.

We are always tantalized by youth. We just love watching nubile young lady teachers as well as decent looking gentlemen teachers. During my time, I do have wild crushes on some of them. I would daydream I was in their arms and having them as my spouse. But those are fleeting dreams- a child's wild escape from reality. We all are sober with age. We know that these crushes will soon go away. Anyway, I still like to look at youthful people. Reminds me of my times too!

I am single and have no children. However, I met one of the teachers of my nephew and she is pretty nice looking as well. Judging on her teaching skills and educational background, I would say that she is smart too. Never saw her again as I am working far from my hometown. Crush? probably. but definitely unsustained. Great day! Thanks!
