Elementary, Middle School, High School or Colllege? Which did you enjoy most?

I had thought of this topic just recently. They usually say that high school is the time which you should never miss as it is the time you will enjoy the most but I do enjoy more of my college life than that of my high school life. I think it really depends on how a person can relate with the people around. How about you? Which did you enjoy the most? Why?

By the sounds of it, you are from the US. I am from the UK and our schooling structure is a little different here. We have Infant School (4-7), Junior School (7-11), High School (11-16), College or High Scool 6th form (16-18) & University (18+). By law, children will attend the minimum of High School and to continue education into College is then the choic of the individual. Once you get to University, you will start paying for your tuition, however; loans are available. I finished High School with decent grades and begun College but didn't stay.

For me I enjoyed Elementary and High School a lot than college. I missed my memories in my Elementary and High School days. I remember my friends and our naughtiness back then. We don't take life seriously back then that's why I love going back to Elementary or High School days.

Hi darknessfalls, I actually liked college best (years 16-18 in the UK). I hated high school because of bullying, and I disliked university because of group presentations, travelling and general stress. But I loved college because I had a few days off each week, it was close to home, and I was left alone most of the time. The things I hated were waiting for lectures, and occasional group presentations and class discussions, but largely I just adored being in the library studying, or staying behind at the end of the day to complete homework before going home. My main memory is of the empty computer labs. That and I had an amazing geology teacher as well, she was FAB! The people I found were very mature as well so they would respect the fact I liked being alone, and not find it odd or something to use against me (high school!) So yep, definitely college hands down lol! Dranz

Well, I kinda liked college in a different you did...I didn't get bullied before though so I don't really don't understand the experience but I was the one who was usually the focus of all the teasing among my friends. We always laugh it out and they did know when to stop. This also happened during High School. I don't know why but I was always the focus of the tease. I enjoy it though...not the attention but the laughter...I really think sometimes you just need to ride the follow of the topic so it wouldn't reach the bullying stage but instead, improve it in a more proper stage which is friends. I'm just sharing my opinion though...:)) Have a good day

Hi darknessfalls, I was never teased by my friends. I actually only had one friend in high school (I am the loner type) and she was a lovely person who would support me and never tease me. The people who bullied me were people I didn't used to know, save for the bullying, both from my year and others. I never knew them and never saw fun in their games. If it were friends then maybe, I do tease online friends so I know how it works. But nope, that was never high school for me! I am glad you were never bullied and I hope you never are, it is a vile experience and though it taught me a lot of things and made me stronger, I wouldn't wish it on anyone! Dranz

I enjoyed school very much and I miss it so much now that I have already graduated. I love learning so much and if there's a chance for me to go back to school, I definitely would. As for my favorite, i think high school will always be memorable. There are certain things then that you simply can't forget and you take on to college and even forever. There's Prom, Graduation Ball, Leagues, TOurnaments and a lot more. My college was more of the serious type so I had not experienced the cool and fun stuff. There were also people I met during highschool that I still am very close to even today.

Well, I haven't graduated college yet though...but I kinda missed my Elementary and High School friends. I missed the prom and all the other events by our school but I still enjoy college since I was never the serious type in terms of school work. I still give priority to my school work though without missing out on my friends in college.

probably elementary school in the latter years when i became more social and more aware of clothes and makeup and boys. girls can be tough on each other emotionally and they play all kinds of back stabbing games and are jealous so that part was tough to take. but i really never loved school. i had some teachers i really liked but not school.

I enjoyed both my High School and College Lives. High School due to my Peers and College because I lived my college life alone. I studied far from my hometown. I would say that my current personality was primarily formed during college. Great discussion. Thanks!

High School. Definitely high school. It wasn't perfect by any means and there were the typical problems of cliques and peer pressure and hormones making everyone emo and "You don't understand meeeeee!" and "I hate the world" dramallama. But it was that perfect time when I have marginal knowledge of the world so that things won't fly over my head when the adults are conversing yet I am young enough not to have that many expectations and responsibilities. I can pretend to be more knowledgeable than I am and it won't have (that many) adverse effects yet still play around because I'm expected to be a little selfish and self-centered. Also, I was surrounded by happiness then. Not that I'm surrounded by sadness now but people are more open with their sadness and bitterness with the world. Ahh, to have the ability to go back to that time.

Yeah, I totally agree...I do also very much enjoy high school. It was the time when I had first tried courting a girl and was also the first I got rejected...ahahah! I kinda saddened me before but remembering it now seemed more like an important memory. :)

I enjoyed college the most in that I found there to be a larger diversity of socio-economic backgrounds and cultures. Also, most people in college treat their fellow classmates with respect and compassion; whereas, in high school students divide themselves into groups, the nerds, the nobodys, the preps, the jocks, the cheerleaders and the like. Not to mention that even in high school, at least from what I saw some students are still immature in that there is the name calling and making fun of other students. This was particularly true when it came to the popular kids making fun of someone who wasn't popular. People are more mean in high school and middle school. In college, I found people to be considerate, compassionate, friendly, and nice.

I feel that i enjoy most is when i turn to high school life. During my high school life it is the best time part of my life, thought many don't realize it at the time. It is a time to learn more about myself my like and dislike.

I think I had more fun in elementary school. Middle school was an awkward time with teenage years approaching. High school was much harder with plenty of responsibilities about the future. Give me elemntary school anytime!

Eventhough you would say that highschool isn't enjoyable because you were not confident at that time, highschool is still the years when you became mature and this is the time when everything is worry-free. That's why teenagers are considered to be carefree. :)

I enjoyed junior or community college the most. I went after I had become a mother and divorced my ex and it was a good time to start a new life and I found out a lot about myself there. I also stayed there for around four years and got an Associate of Arts degree in History, not a useful degree but I enjoyed most of my time spent there earning it. Later I went to university and it was so hard, oh my gosh, it was hard and I didn't know anybody so I didn't finish my degree I am sad to say. One day I hope to complete my Bachelor's degree.

Well, I have to say that I really enjoy my high school days than any other school life days. I really have a great circle of friends and I really enjoy most out of it. When I was in elementary the focus was on studying and also in college. In high school my focus was play and have fun and a little of studying too. I really appreciate the time I have with my classmates in high school, where we go for an outing every Saturday and Sunday.

Many say that high school was the best but for me i liked my college life better. It was in my college that i get to experience many things like joining in contests like math and science , mr and ms coed, being an officer in many organizations, being the one in the spotlight for a change, being adored/admired because of my background. I was able to make new friends from different walks of life. I really came out of my shell and somehow knew myself and found myself when i was in college.

i enjoyed my high school the most.as it is the time when you know, how people around are?in this we can make out our mind for everything. we does not have too much pressure of the studies on us and we can also recognize who are bad people and who are good and thus we can make our friends according to that and we also shape our future and carrier on this stage and understand the importance of studies in our life.

As to me,I feel college life is wonderful,no pressure, life is simple but so free, usually we have no necessiry to get up so early bcs have no classes in the morning,we never worry whether it is late to get up,while after attend work, everything is rigid,we can not be late for work,we have to come to the office on time,we have no normal holidays while we enjoy 2days' weekend and normal holidays in college,we only have Sunday holiday,if I have customer come to visit us on Sunday,I also will spend the Sunday in the office, nearly crazy....In my college we have so much free time to plan.
